Something I should have pointed out to people is that this was the 50th anniversary of Alaska state hood. This might have confused people to think that they were appearing together randomly and I just wanted to clear this up. I apologize for not posting that info. Everyone there was there for all the right reasons. Music is healing and everyone could use a dose on a regular basis. Hopefully this comment will get things going in the right direction now. Thanks

I don't think politics and music should be seen together. They make very strange bedfellows. Ms Palin was obviously looking for some publicity at this show.

I agree with you. But it was great for Wy to do the concert for the troops in Anchorage and in that light for the Governor of the State to welcome her (the publicity was most likely a welcomed change from hunting Moose and Wolves).

It wasnt about publicity. I was at the concert. She was there to show her support for the troops. I also want to point out that the man in the green suit used to be a general up on elmendorf afb but he died this summer. Right after the air show.
