@BrettsGettingKnown No, the reason this is, is because the PS360 have graphics technology from 2005. And the game runs in 1024x576, an extremely low resolution. Not to mention all the textures are really low res too, this is to keep the game memory usage low, because their out-dated technology only has 256mb of graphic memory.
All this contributes to the shitty, washed out look of the game. Trust me dude, I got it on Xbox too. PC will always win, PC is just more powerful.
Obv PC wins, the game looks better on 360 console because PS3 is harder to work on, and takes longer and more data to make it better quality, don't know why think it's just the way Sony made it. And a game like Call of Duty, which is made on a yearly basis, hasn't got the time to make the PS3 version better, if they did it every 2 years then the game might look better on PS3, as they have more time to get the game to actually use the PS3 processor :)

So basically it's just different settings on the game that effect the contrast, good game devs (capcom, and EA) properly change the settings of the game engine giving us good graphics.
pc makes the graphics look more realistic. that is why i stick to the ps3 or the 360 when it comes to these kind of games. the pc graphics do not mix well with the unrealistic nature of cod.

theres no comparison. PC can be upto 1600p, with 3 yes 3 side by side monitors, and yes console gamers there is such a thing as more than 1080p google pc monitors, with 16AA and AF, xbox is 640p or sumfn upscaled to 720p. it looks shit compared, blurred, jagged edges. same goes for PS3

@themarcosfox you have to realise that blu ray discs does NOTHING to the quality of the game. It really depends on your hardware. Blu ray has a larger space memory to store data than standard dvd9. Theres really no point because most games are just small compared to blu-ray. Also, Blu-ray takes a longer loading time.

@aSzGnx I'm all for PC. but I think the 360 uses direct x 9, BUT it also used tessalation years ahead of PC ( microsoft probably patented something about it for it's console). in consoles, the graphics isn't actually handled ALOT by the gpu itself, much like the cell processor from the PS3, a lot of the work load goes to the CPU instead (kind of like crysis for PC) the video card. I LOL though, my WinXP BFG 9800 GT 1gVram, 4 gb RAM pentium D setup looks better than some of the 360s games.
@henryhenriquez not saying they invetented Tessalation, but they did use it in games more often than PC's, evidence is as you stated . DX11. Yes, the 360 is a direct x9, but it's modified. It's not like they are using a direct port of Dx9! They added a few new features just like when a company uses a different gaming engine. Quake 1 engine for example has morphed into what is now known as Valve's "Source" engine. iDTech 3 has been modified & taken into Infinity Ward and renamed the IW Engine.
@L0S3rFuL well ALL graphics rendering is done by gpu for boht consoles. and xbox360 gpu uses dx9 and Some of dx10 effects, but not dx 11. and dx11 does tesselation and the consoles can only do graphics that are inside there libraries so no xbox360 CANT do tesselation neither can ps3.
@henryhenriquez Nope, the reason the video card doesn't matter is because the Cell Processor takes alot of the work load (PS3) not sure about 360, but I do know that the 360 is capable of tessalation. I've read it in articles (even alot of youtube videos ) from 2004-2005 to even present. Just google that "Xbox 360 tessalation ATI" and Cell Processor graphics. Just like GPU's are trying to free up workload from the CPU on PC's the true is the same in reverse for console.

Blu-ray is simply media storage. Hard drives are of course much larger, and therefore PCs can store larger games, though the PS3 and 360 have hard drives too so its meaningless
@mitzibishi Your comments do not make it clear that you are aware of this, but what people call "1600p" is a single 2560x1600 monitor. Three of those would make 7680x1600.
Also, Eyefinity allows up to six monitors, not just three.

i think the pc is always gonna have the best graphics, because they have limitations when making it for consoles, but for the pc, they could make it look as good as crysis if they really wanted to, but then everyone would probably get it for console because they dont feel like upgrading there computer.

I play the PC version and Xbox version on the same TV. If I have them both running at the same time, I put it on Xbox and when I switch over to PC the colour gets more vibrant, everything is really clear and smooth. Xbox is low resolution, whether you use the fucking HDMI cable or not. 1024x576 with no AA, jagged and blury

theres no comparison. PC can be upto 1600p, with 3 yes 3 side by side monitors, and yes console gamers there is such a thing as more than 1080p google pc monitors, with 16AA and AF, xbox is 640p or sumfn upscaled to 720p. it looks shit compared, blurred, jagged edges. same goes for PS3

@themarcosfox you have to realise that blu ray discs does NOTHING to the quality of the game. It really depends on your hardware. Blu ray has a larger space memory to store data than standard dvd9. Theres really no point because most games are just small compared to blu-ray. Also, Blu-ray takes a longer loading time.

@aSzGnx I'm all for PC. but I think the 360 uses direct x 9, BUT it also used tessalation years ahead of PC ( microsoft probably patented something about it for it's console). in consoles, the graphics isn't actually handled ALOT by the gpu itself, much like the cell processor from the PS3, a lot of the work load goes to the CPU instead (kind of like crysis for PC) the video card. I LOL though, my WinXP BFG 9800 GT 1gVram, 4 gb RAM pentium D setup looks better than some of the 360s games.

@henryhenriquez not saying they invetented Tessalation, but they did use it in games more often than PC's, evidence is as you stated . DX11. Yes, the 360 is a direct x9, but it's modified. It's not like they are using a direct port of Dx9! They added a few new features just like when a company uses a different gaming engine. Quake 1 engine for example has morphed into what is now known as Valve's "Source" engine. iDTech 3 has been modified & taken into Infinity Ward and renamed the IW Engine.

@henryhenriquez Nope, the reason the video card doesn't matter is because the Cell Processor takes alot of the work load (PS3) not sure about 360, but I do know that the 360 is capable of tessalation. I've read it in articles (even alot of youtube videos ) from 2004-2005 to even present. Just google that "Xbox 360 tessalation ATI" and Cell Processor graphics. Just like GPU's are trying to free up workload from the CPU on PC's the true is the same in reverse for console.

the fastest format to play the game on would be on a SSD disc witch can read over 250MByte/s.
While the PS3 can only read blu ray Discs at 2x witch is only 9 MByte/s.

MW2 runs @ 1024x640 on consoles.. Thats barely even "HD".
PCs can go.. pretty much infinitely high. 2560x1600 [ > 1440p ] is a typical high, but some people have 7180x1600. That's not even comparable in "p"s.
Blu-ray is simply media storage. Hard drives are of course much larger, and therefore PCs can store larger games, though the PS3 and 360 have hard drives too so its meaningless

Also, Eyefinity allows up to six monitors, not just three.
