  • If Kucinich was called on the carpet for that statement and made to retract them then they're just as guilty as Bush for obstructing justice.

  • The man lied! Get over yourself and the fascist agenda you're supporting. Kucinich belongs in THAT job, not the one he has now. Bush belongs in jail for lies and war crimes, not the white house.

  • Of course Bush lied. If anything it's the House of Representitives that are supporting the agenda which was what my statement was about.

  • WTF!!! Did you guys watch the original!

I was like, what the hell is he apologizing for????

  • something happened off camera

  • Great job, Steve. I've posted this on my blog on the same topic. Thanks for the comment, too.

  • "He who is the author of a war lets loose the whole contagion of hell and opens a vein that bleeds a nation to death."

    Thomas Paine

  • I love thomas paine!!!

  • I do too, a very wise man, and far ahead of his time. (smile)

  • which of his books do you recommend? I'm reading common sense.

  • I am just learning about Paine. I have spent the last fifty-eight years of my life being told I was created out of a friggen rib, and believing it. I give the phrase late bloomer new meaning! (blushes) I can thank George W for waking me up. Listening to him say he was talking to GOD while raining down death and destruction on humanity to the cheers of good American Christians, really opened my eyes. I would rather take my chances in hell than be on that team. (smile)

  • Be sure to read Age of Reason. This text was his self-proclaimed masterpiece about religion, but from the reaction of the American public proved that Paine was centuries ahead of his time. They disowned him! Poor Paine went from being revered as the father of liberty to an outcast of society. He was probably too blunt for the quakers at the time, but Paine had great wisdom and insight if only the people would've listened to him more.
