Opt-Out of Comcast Settlement

They practically hold monopolies. Everyone i know is sick of their ISP, and they are blocking services we are paying for to get to! We are paying for ACCESS, they are policing what we CAN ACCESS? That is WRONG. It is discriminatory, contractually illegal, and bad business ethics. We should follow Finland and make high-speed internet a right as well as fully accessible without restrictions on data flow or gathering.

Comcast didn't drop room on the hsd svc to make room for digital voice svc. Digital voice is a separate protocol of small packet bursts and in no way uses even a fraction of the set aside bandwidth for hsd tranfers, I believe is people want to share files and stickit to the entertainment industry by downloading and sharing bootlegged copies of songs and movies etc.. They should have to pay for a more expensive tier of hsd so they aren't hogging up the bandwidth of other users.

@yortnoraa Or maybe these greedy bastards who would rather keep us dumb (though i guess that is an individual choice), should do as the description says and expand with the hundreds of millions we give them each year. Get some crews out installing cheap fiber cables they buy from China. Then re-arrange their contract saying if any illegal downloading is done and they are caught (ISP should not be police) they can't say the ISP aided in the illegal transaction (lines crossing boundaries).
