    Very american.

  • do they do this at active duty graduations?

  • going here apr 25th for 11x infantry. gotta say, not diggin the music. doesnt seem appropriate.....just a thought

  • man once i get my stuff done on this side, be aiming to join the army this coming year and be a INFantry man mostly be there at fort benning

  • lol, sure would've been a good demo if not for all that smoke.

  • i hope they dont do this shit at my graduation.

  • @joesrrtt08 haha thats exactly what i was just thinking

  • @jbryant13

Hopefully its not that cold when I go lol

  • They look a little cold lol

  • @Northeastbaseball - it was FREEZING - they handed out blankets to the crowd. They had a HUGE ice storm the week before while the guys were on bivouac - one of the companies came in from the field - the other stayed out there (and weren't about to let the other guys know about it LOL).

  • B-Co 2/19 here...

  • why cant girls become infantry in the army?

  • @purelife689 because woman belong in the kitchen.

  • @AnonymousFuckinBitch - oh... shit

  • hell yea, D 1/50 here, graduated a few weeks before them, man i miss those BDUs

  • cool..except we never did anything with those damn bradleys. Every damn graduation lol

  • E3/47 T_T...... brings back memories...

  • this is retarded

  • @bigsteve532 I guess thats why the British got pummeled by the Germans in WW2. Fucking teasucking faggot!

  • srry jbryant i meant no disrespect to your son.

  • reguradless this show is corny. they want a show call cnn an tell them to follow the infantry unit in iraq or afganistan.

  • Why so cynical? It wasn't meant to be a documentary. This "show" was to demonstrate (in a very small way) to the family and friends of the graduates a small sampling of what they had learned through their training. As retired military (24 yrs Air Force) and a father of one of these graduates I was grateful for their dedication and display of skill which we were all there to celebrate. My son went from there to a tour in Afghanistan. I was and remain very proud of all of them.

  • @joj0724 Yeah that was pretty corny lool

    yanks

  • def not a fan of this, i will never put on show for the public with my infantry unit when i graduate. it will not happen.

  • Former 3 STB 187th Infantry Reg. 101st Airborne..

  • I'm going to Benning really soon any advice?

  • B Co. 1/19 Infantry graduate. Rock Steady!

  • This is a really sad thing to see, I am a 2/58 Inf, HOUSE OF PAIN graduate from 1999. The last class because after that apparently they train women @benning now and I see they play bad to the bone at your ceremony that is a just retarded! Rangers lead the way 2/75th Ft. Lewis out. <~~~ as he shakes his head in disgust.

  • @bngedrinkr81

they do not train women in ft benning, i dont know where you got that from. It's Infantry only, and women arent allowed in the infantry.

  • @bngedrinkr81 I think I can help solving this issue. They do not train women at Fort Benning. The soldiers only beat up women and girls at the protests against the SOA. Maybe you got confused.

  • I went to B Company 2/58 Inf. 1997! Did u have to "Hit the Hill"?

  • Im going back today from x-mas leave. 4 more weeks of basic then another 4 of AIT and this 11b is done!

  • Wow this really took me back. I graduated in 1997 and served as a TOW gunner for four years after that. I've since changed my job to MP and now I work with K9's. I can't believe I retire in less than eight years.

  • @newfyguy2000 you sound like a really scary guy. I´m glad I´m no member of Amnesty International, your worst enemy, or you might shoot me.

  • I'm in the Guard, and I love it.

  • im going in jan for 11 X-ray

    army regular though not gaurd

  • hey me 2 bro.....1/29 4 you also? 11x here and i got BAT into my contract!

  • this is done at the end of every graduation from infantry training

  • @mooner45013 I really hope not

  • Do they do demos in the Guard Graduation?

  • This video is a Guard graduation

  • guards graduate differently?

  • they should've issued snuggies to the crowd...I was 1/19 Infantry...I saw this same demoe while in basic, I think it was armed forces day or something.

  • Actually they did have blankets to hand out - just not enough of them - it was COLD !(and windy).

As you probably know - they had a horrible ice storm there just the week before and these troops were camping out in it.

  • you have got to love the 240. i aint sure i only went to benning never been to another graduation.

  • fort benning graduation....i did that an its one tight ass fit in the back of them...but a fun ride

  • do they only do that in fort benning or in every fort

  • Do they do that at every Fort Benning infantry graduation?

  • I'm not positive, but I would imagine they do. It's designed to give the families in attendance what they learned there.

  • No. Lol

  • its only at fort beening for infantry graduations. im sure other MOS has their special thing they do. but that is a Infantry graduation

  • GOD BLESS AMERICA

  • Hell yeah, BDU's. The good days.

  • fuck no!!! I starched the shit out of mine and I still got yelled at for looking like crap.

  • I'll take velcro over buttons any day..Although its not to stealthy trying to retrieve a map or etc...

  • 2/ 54, i miss that place

  • you yank soldiers watch to many films to do sumfink like dat as a graduation parade. thats y ur all shit unlike the brits

  • well

First of all, let me know what your background is, for making such boasts!

I am a regular army (tank/infantry) captain, 17 years of service and 4 tours, to Iraq and Afghanistan and the Balkans, and IMO, the US and UK both produce very good soldiers, so to say that the british are far superior to the yanks, is just plain BS.

  • obvious troll is obvious, its sad when someone needs attention so much that they do shit like you. Work ur problems out with mommy and daddy lil boy, dont bringem here

  • well we've been doing parades like that since we kicked your superior army's ass back across the ocean twice. hahaha stupid fucker. you can have a bad ass parade when you are a real winner. britts dont measure up. fuck the queen who cares if shes old.

  • if only they didnt change to that "universal" camoflauge.

  • Army ACU's are very effective in obscuring the natural outline of the body..

The colors work well in Afghanistan, as well.

  • HOOAH! ...to all the young infantryman, you lead the way.

  • This was really cool.. we didnt get to do anything cool like this as Engineer's

  • the best of the best

  • wow I was in 1-329 B Co in 04

  • Praise God your son's back from AFGNSTN. I'm real proud of him.

  • Thanks - Me Too !

  • for what all we did is drive & walk around and hope we don't get shout or blow up other than that we were just bored the hole time. i dont get why people act like this is ww2 or something? i would just be proud his in the best of the best 11B INFANTRY!!!

  • For what? because he serves in a unit with a heritage of brave service. It aint ww2, or even Vietnam...but tell that to the dead or wounded. Thats a stupid thing to say.

  • lol in british infanty its 28 weeks

  • I can't help it if they're slow learners :-)

  • haha, well, these men get 16 weeks, (no weekends off) of pure training, then get advanced skills at thier units.

  • how long is the training there?

  • 16 weeks

  • i can wait untill i get sent to BCT in a couple weeks

  • There will never be another experience like it.You will be scared, then adjust, then you won't be able to STAND the wait until graduation, but when you're in my shoes, 18 years after those days, you'll look back with amazing clearness and remember some of the most amazing times of your life!U'll recall the smell of the chow hall & the smell of the breeze blowing in formation, the early PT runs, the goofy shower drills, the late night fire-watches and you'll miss it all!wow-you might even shed a tear.

  • Well put. You just can't explain it to someone who has never gone through it.

  • yep. Some experiences are more formative than a thousand others. That was one...you been thru Basic somewhere?

  • I'm retired Air Force, the video was of my son's graduation in '05. He just got back from Afghanistan last week!

  • jbryant,

Please tell your son thank you, from me. And to you, as well, thank you. Nobody knows the weight of worry (as well as pride) carried by a military parent during deployment.
