  • "To a World Champion, money is no problem"

  • magnum look like "why you gotta point t me like that?"

  • my favorite flair interview.

  • magnum was going to be the nwa champion but his car wreck ended it and they had to scramble and throw that no talent luger into the mix

  • lol at Gary's announcing, weeks away from being kicked out the door, booking the company and the Crockett family into bankruptcy, and Dusty Rhodes is still squeezing in bunkhouse stampedes

  • lol@schiavone's moustache :D

  • haha look at jr

  • Magnum would have been champ if not for his accident.Great wrestler. His U.S. title bouts with Nikita Koloff are classic.

  • @seadude6969 Flair would have got the belt back and moved on to the next feud

  • @spoodyface flair got lucky first von erich then magnum, but your right, he was top heel. the man lived his life like ric flair the person not the character, which hurt him now, cause he's still in the business cause he cant afford to retire. what a shame.

  • magnum ta got humiliated portrayed as a dumb reporter lol

  • classic

  • Poor Magnum T.A. He looked pissed during this entire promo.

It is such a shame that his career was cut short.

  • i cant help but think that if Magnum didnt have his accident, he could very well be the world champ being interviewed then.

  • @crassyfrake Without a doubt if Magnum didn't have his accident he would have been a multiple time world champ in probably NWA/WCW and maybe even WWE/ WWF. He'd be compared to the greats of all time and called a legend. The day he was in that accident was a very sad day in wrestling history. I grew up in the Charlotte area and my sister went to school right where that accident happened. I recall riding by where that spot the next day and still think of it everytime I go by there.

  • I will never forget how great wrestling was in these days either...........I think I was about 7 as well........they just don't do it like this anymore

  • I'll never forget this...I was 7 watching this and was sure that Luger was gonna beat Flair, but Naitch came through as always...love the way he referred to wrestling as a SPORT (which it is) and not "sports entertainment" like they badger everyone over the head with nowadays

  • @miggy25 I hear ya. I was bout 17 myself when this happen. When I hear the words "Sports Entertainment" it makes me cringe.

  • Wooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

  • I was glad Ric won this match. If he had lost, I'd fear he was going to go to the WWF, like many NWA wrestlers did in 1988.

  • Loving these uploads. Keep them coming!

  • i was @ this match

  • thanks

  • ...this was in my hometown of Norfolk Va., and I never knew they had a bunkhouse match after the Flair Lugar match...keep it coming...this is some great stuff you're posting!

  • @32578daj I was in the fifth row i keep trying to find footage of the rest of it, I was 5 years old
