Innerspace was the first thing that came to mind watching this for me, which is a shame, as that was a great sci-fi movie. This... this is Innerspace without the charm and fun. But it goes deeper than that. The plot of stopping bad guys inside a president is a direct lift from an even earlier sci-fi shrinking plot, Fantastic Voyage!

Jesus christ, watching that game being played makes me sad. I'm so lucky I wasn't young enough to play that game when I was a kid. I remember Starcraft coming in a pretty box, with a nice manual and technology progression sheet, as well as a book on the different races with nice colour illustrations. That game was fun, and so was Donkey Kong Country, Pokemon, Crash Bandicoot, and Spyro. This...this is Awful. How could you possibly play this game, it would make me resent video games forever

Wow...I think they must've spent 90% of their budget on the FMV sequences and the backstory in the game manual, and then just threw in the derivative gameplay as an afterthought.

In fact...that manual kind of reminds me of the one for Batman Forever: it gave you the background story, info on the characters and enemies, and basically did a walkthrough of all the levels...but didn't even bother to instruct you on how to conduct moves with the bass ackward controls.
