  • lord taylor welcomes u to inner folds of ze illuminati.

  • I always loved Roger Taylor's songs - this is still my favourite "News Of The World" track !!!

  • F.A.B., Rog!

  • Love Taylor's voice so much pent up energy to it

  • Roger looks like a young girl in most of these pictures.

  • Farrokh Bulsara..... perfect voice, classically trained on the piano, songwriter, designed Queens logo......collector of Japanese art..Beautiful,shy sweet and yes ...sexy... part of something so perfect. Brian May Guitar Master Brilliant song writter, Roger Taylor great on drums and that falsetto John Deacon wrote some of Queen's most memorible songs and amazing bass player.. I miss your presence Freddie Mercury..I admire how you lived..and died on your terms Glad I got to see Queen LIVE

  • Roger Taylor the sexist man in the world of rock n roll.Great voice too..

  • who r the 2 RETARDS that did Not Like This Song?

    ; }

  • What a killer riff....man!

  • Man! Love that dirty-bass line! I think I need to take a shower now -- LOL!

  • I have forgotten the song, but one night I saw a Queen video on TV that had a quick shot of Roger Taylor in drag, and he looked like Goldie Hawn. I was in hysterics for a long time after.

  • @5jerry1 That´s " I want to break free"

  • I still can't believe this is Roger! I LOVE it!

  • Who else agrees that sometimes Roger's brilliance and genius is underestimated?

  • roger plays all instruments and sings all vocals..berilliant.

  • amazing song .

  • Hell yeah! I haven't heard this one since 1999 :) Great rock by Roger!

  • there you have Johnnie Rotten!!

  • My Theme Song Forever;)

  • @2k9monty you didn't know that about Freddie?

  • @2k9monty no man this song rocks

  • brilliantly awesome song - such a great groove - and such great artists to have evolved from their heavy prog rock into this heavy funk and do it so well. Been a fan for nearly 30 years and this mid-late 70s roger taylor funk stuff is amongst my fave.

  • one of their best

  • AAHHHHHHH

  • AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! I love it. I love Roger's sonic epic screams!

  • best stuff Queen ever did. Too bad it isn't played more. This is the stuff that made me think Queen was the best band in the world.

  • Freddie may have been the most popular but they were all equally talented. Personally my favorite queen songs are the ones that Brian May wrote

  • AMAZING!! Roger and another of his master strokes!

  • i play this song on drums :)

  • Esta es una de las pequeñas joyas que Taylor aportó en cada disco...

TODOS los discos tienen un temazo escondido de Taylor.

  • ROCK!!!

  • great song

  • you're idiot, freddie was one of four

  • this is a brillaint video, ilove this song so much, Queen all the way sending my love to queen and queen fans :)

  • I see Blur ripped off the start of this for Jets. Both top songs though.

  • @tobyobrie It's not really ripping off, it's more an homage or something. Although if you want to be a true cynic then i've got news for you '95% of all music is ripped off'

But I do agree with you 'both top songs'

  • amooo la vos de roger taylor...la amoooo

  • This is ROCK N´ROLL! Thanks, Roger Taylor!

  • If you think this is good, look up The Kleptones a Night at the Hip-Hopera which samples the awesome guitar riffs from this. I'm gutted they banned it..... but I have a sly copy though! Thank God.

  • Roger plays all instruments in this song. Not only bass.

  • @KORAX14 roger doesnt play bass its jon that does

  • @freddymercury47 no roger played bass on this track

  • @KORAX14 Huh? Really? I don't believe it.

  • @jeffdeanable He does play all instruments and sings all of the voices in this record. It's not even the only Queen song like that : he played all of instruments apart from some guitar noises (and the lead vocals during the verses) on Sheer Heart Attack from the same album, played all of the instruments and sung all the voices of several of his solo records and some other Queen songs... the dude's very talented.

  • @Canaveral305 Sheer Heart Attack, another all time favorite of mine...thanks for the info! I am like a pair of claws scuttling across the floor of the ocean...well, someone's gotta be good at everything. I never knew....:)

  • @KORAX14 Roger doesn't normally play bass so you should have said "Not only drums". Anywho, the liner notes state that Roger plays rythm guitar and bass guitar in addition to drums. Hoever, Brian takes lead guitar per usual.

  • @KORAX14 Ummm I think brian may plays guiter on this 1 if sure :)

  • @KORAX14 I was under the impression Roger only played rhythm guitars. The NOTW liner notes were very specific so I'd have to check them to make sure. I could totally be wrong.

  • And people think it was either John Deacon or Freddie who brought funk into Queen music (Another One Bites The Dust, Hot Space album) but actually the first 'flirt' with the genre is by Roger, not only this but 'Fun It' from the subsequent album. Roger even plays bass on this.

  • this is one of my all-time favorite songs <3

    thanks for the upload

  • Hey I like it, listen up I placed that Fight From The Inside, cause it has "beat it" scenes is just to make tribute to MJackson, RIP Michael Jackson, And Freddie all genius. My parents are big fans of Michael's also Queen. We love a lot international music here in Argentina.

  • so much behind this "innocent" lyric--- fight fom the inside has much to say about life in general even though the aspects may not always be recognized

  • Me fascinas QUEEN!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Thats exactly why i looked this song up. Never heard it before. But I kinda like it.

  • I don't like this song, but Slash has it on his list of Best Rock'n'Roll riffs at #6

  • a bit strange though roger played guitar in this song...

  • Besides this one, what other Queen songs did Roger take lead vocals on?

  • There were quite a few, just off the top of my head:

    Modern Times Rock and Roll

    Loser in the End

    Tenement Funster

I'm in Love With my Car

    Fun It

    More Of That Jazz

    Rock It (Prime Jive)

There are probably some others, but my mind's gone blank.

He has got a really distinctive voice, which I love, you should probably check out some of his solo stuff aswell :D

  • I think you've got them all there. His voice was more promenent on some backing vocals (such as Ride The Wild Wind), Freddie took over main singing rights during the 80's.

  • and drowse!! :D

  • Can't believe I forgot Drowse!

That is seriously one of my favourites ever.

    *Facepalm*

  • OMG!! and I forgot sheer heart attack!!!

    poor taylor.... :) LOL

  • @Izzierocks i think aloso dog with a bone

  • @Izzierocks Coming soon !

  • Hijack my Heart

    A Human Body

  • @Izzierocks "Calling all girls", "Action this day", "Radio GAGA", "Kind of Magic", "Invisible Man", "Machines-Back to Humans", "Headlong", "Drowse" "Coming Soon" "Don't lose your head" all these song made totally by Roger Taylor except "Machines-Back to Humans" that was made by Taylor & May...

  • @LuisV77 don't forget "I'm in love with my car" and "A kind of Magic" :)

  • @JaceTheMindSculptor3 yeah and also "Loser in the end" and "these are the days of our lives"

  • @Izzierocks

...also the B sides "A Human Body" (1980) and "Hijack my Heart" (1989).

  • Comment removed

  • @saanzacs I'm In Love With My Car

  • queen the best group ever

  • good song, like the harder rock sound

  • temon

  • At 1.11 :

Roger "Hey Freddie !! Look what i've just found ! Funny isn't it ?!"

Freddie "Get off ! You'll make my wonderful fur coat dirty ! (silly little boy) "

    Brian "ZzZzZzZzZzZzZzZzZzZzZzZZ...."

John "mmm who's that girl comin' ??!"

(and that girl is me ^^)

  • Where did you here that???

Sounds like Brian lent a hand or two. Name the source.

I know Rodger (lol) can do quit a bit...take Fun in Space, but I just think perhaps May added a bit

  • wow! I used to crank this on my Pioneer Super Tuner *-TRACK! While cruising in my 68 Firebird... while cruising Main St., in Mesa Az. what memories!

  • Actually, Brian and Roger both played the guitar; not just Roger.

Anyhow, I love this song...possibly more than I'm In Love With My Car.:3

  • great video! Roger is a legend:)

  • This song only features Roger Taylor. Freddie Brian and John dont play any of the instruments on this song.

  • Wow. I didn't know Taylor did all this. These guys blow everyone out of the water when it comes to musicianship, songwriting and general talent.

  • Where did you here that???

Sounds like Brian lent a hand or two. Name the source.

I know Rodger (lol) can do quit a bit...take Fun in Space, but I just think perhaps May added a bit

  • Taylor played rhytm, drums, and bass. Lead was still May.

  • I remember reading it on Wikipedia I think. I was close though!!!

  • John Deacon played bass.

  • I don't think he did on this track.

  • Really?

Hmmm that's wierd...why would they have a bass player and not make him play bass on this track.

thats silly, but cool song anyways.

  • I think its just because Taylor wrote it and felt it was his song. He wanted to lay down all the instruments he could to make sure it stayed his own.

  • Sounds reasonable, but he should of just done his own solo thing instead of joining a band if he wanted to do that.

I guess if it was just for that song then its okay..i think i'm making a big deal out of this

    lol

  • It's all cool - there's songs with John playing piano or guitar, Brian playing piano or singing lead vocal, Freddie playing guitar, often on the songs they wrote, just because they felt like it.

  • Well, it's Queen and they can do whatever the hell they want lol

    It still sounds great!

  • Yeah, Taylor played most of the instruments in this particular song. He is credited as such: lead and backing vocals, drums, percussion, rhythm guitar, bass guitar

  • One of my favourites...always seem to like the non mainstream tunes.

  • me too! This song, Action This Day, Tear It Up, Tenement Funster, I'm in love With My Car, plus some more.

  • Now we are three. That´s why "Queen" is my favourite album. It´s not mainstream, and it´s got perfect songs.

  • they're great....I really love them...in particular brian!!!!!!

  • Cool I really like it some pics ive never seen!!
