  • I have located DietOramy food regimen (you'll find it on Google) - that diet plan is quite frankly fabulous, I am not actually constraining myself from food and I'm still shedding unwanted weight - the secret is in a variety of variants of nutrition, just not in calories...

  • Good video. The no fruits/dairy comment makes sense--fruits have massive amounts of simple carbs. and diary has fat that is not need before a competition. Good advice. You're really motivational, man; keep up the good work.

    Some sort of protein after your workout and a good balanced diet is all you need. Pre-workouts are not necessary but a preference.

  • @Xhec94 creatine, glutamine, bcaas, fish oil, cla, zma they are all somewhat beneficial, but pretty much will hurt you more than help you if u dont eat right.

  • I'm currently5'11 and weigh 140 lbs. Over summer I'm trying to get to 150-155 lbs while having a six pack. I know that i should eat about 6 meals a day with 3-4 hours in between but i was wondering you could give me a mock diet that i could build off of?? i know its kind of a long question to ask buti feel ike if i have something in paper from someone that knows what they are talking about i will have a better chance to succeed.     i just throw 5g of creatine into my mouth and then drink water, its a lot easier than trying to dissolving it

    just make sure to drink a lot of water throughout the day

  • I like the idea of putting your meals in Tupperware! I think everyone should do it to help portion their meals. As for cravings..from my experiences since your eating and drinking so much..you simple aren't hungry and won't crave other foods since your already satisfied or full from the water.

    Btw, are you just using pepper as a seasoning?

  • i 100% understand why fruits aren't in your meals when doing this...i think this is similar to atkins what you are doing...if you goto a resource like calorieking and check out the amount of carbs that fruits like bananas has it defeats the purpose of cutting out carbs and using complex carbs from veggies....hey just wondering on day 6 does the veggies and food taste fresh or decent from being refrigerated or does it taste spoiled at all?

  • @fizwizx Yeah that's actually called carb-cycling and it helps to break through a weight loss plateau or to keep your body guessing so it will keep burning fat instead of thinking you're in starvation mode.

  • I think that if you're a lazy person who wants to lose weight, it definitely helps to prepare your meals ahead of time so there's no thinking, "what should I eat" and in the long run it also saves you time in the kitchen!

  • I'm a really big fan of the spinach leaves mixed with ( a little oil) and protein source meals. I'm 190 looking to cut down to 170, It's basically moving down a weight class for martial arts. How many calories would you suggest? I have 6 months and i'm doing 2200 calories, down from about 2900. I'm doing 3 low carb meals, 2 meals with about 50 grams of carbs and 2 shakes.

  • @barthelfitness Hey jonathan when your cutting before a competition do you stop taking creatine. I see your taking a pre workout supplement which probably does have some creatine, but its a small amount.

  • @benfoley83 100-150 grams of carbs is low for me. Remember im over 200lbs and my physical activity level is much higher

  • @barthelfitness Me too, smashing it 6 days a week and over 200, I cut out carbs except for breakfast and post workout, I get cravings for bread but I havn't noticed any drop in energy, possibly just something that is different from person to person?
