I just called Lehmans one minute ago ( 8:45am 8-23-11) to order their cabbage cutter and thay told me it was madein China. Also, when making sauerkraut, it extremely important to weigh the cabbage and use the appropriate weight of salt.

What you use to cut the cabbage into julienne strips, looks like a mandoline. Nice sauerkraut, now I can put such sauerkraut on my hotdogs. :-)
