  • TAI CHI CHUAN - THE MOST POWERFUL MARTIAL ART IN THE WHOLE WORLD !!!

PRACTICE TAI CHI WHOLE LIFE ONLY WITH LOVE, WITH GOOD THOUGHTS AND ONLY FOR HEALTH...AND YOU WILL BE MASTERS !

  • @b747power it is definetly not a martial art it is i focus and outlook on life ment to better ones spirit and body , not to kill . if you look up martial art history all of that is actually still used and has primarily been used for battle this and other forms of such "developements" to the human body are all to better ones energy flow, these focus on peace of mind and a empty mind , numb if you will .mearly to improve ones own life not to harm others.

  • @beowolf0663 , I agree with everything you said. Tai Chi is a better health, because when you practice tai chi, the energy in the human body flows better and that's mean better health. When you have a good health, you have and a strong spirit and body. Tai Chi is a motive culture of the human body. Tai Chi is a physical culture. Tai Chi is an worldly wisdoms. But listen, Tai Chi is the most powerful martial art in the whole world too ! Tai Chi gives me everything and it's better than wife. :)

  • @b747power no

  • I need to learn this to defeat more enemies .

  • beautifull form, wudang rocks

  • Beautiful ! Like water flow.

  • pls whats the song name??????????????????????

  • how could i get into one of these schools i grew up around martial arts but i live in louisiana theres no kung fu schools like this here none of the masters see kung fu in its true art and purity id love to learn from a master who sees kung fu for what it is and its true form of art can anyone help me with this?

  • @YAxBOYxAxFOOL Not that I know much of anything, but it is said that that all martial arts originate from the same source. Some call it the Dao.

As I see it, before it was called kung fu, it was nameless. It all began with cultivation.

  • A person seeking to obtain will not find, one that does not look already has. Amzing how this works, like Hrry Ptter and the Bldstone, those who want it won't get it and those who don't want it have it. Intrnl MA seems to follow this process. It's a slowly evlving prctce, once spent years cultivating, you don't realize the difference in internal ability. It changes people's outlook on life. Something that was once predominant and now is rare to find in martial arts.

  • Chinese culture rocks

  • He moves almost like a taoist immortal

  • anyone know the title of the songs?

  • very very beautifull

  • very very beautifull

  • Is it true that someone should become a Taoist to be excelent in Taichi art?

  • It sucks how practically every video on Tai Chi Chuan has a hundred comments on whether its effective in combat. Perhaps people could drop their incessant need to criticize and undermine others and take their petty comments to a "Tai Chi and its effectiveness in combat" video. Tai Chi is primarily about spiritual growth; self defense is something acquired along the way. If you just want to be a bad ass who can manipulate chi and wear a dragon symbol, Tai Chi doesn't want you.

  • @Janotheknight That is why, Yang Lu chan was the #1 FIGHTER in all of China, because of "spiritual growth"? ROFLMAO Please, do RESEARCH first! btw, there is no such thing as wudang tai chi! This is a marketing campaign to play on people's naiviety. And NEVER listen to anyone (asian or otherwise) who teaches taiji in silk pajamas!

  • Yes, there is more to what I said below i.e. fa jing, ting jing etc... My point was that the form is practiced slow to cultivate these things. In a real life attack, one acts in real time.

  • ShaoMen, plse clarify...there are 2 tracks to this music of this video.Sifu Chen performed the 1st part that lasted about 2:57.Is this style the same as the second one which starts @3:01 until end which is 7:56.Thus, which style is actually the WudangZhangSan-feng taichi quan form13?I am confused?plse help.thanks!

  • hi u bastion83, shaomen and chentaichi72 are certainly right in what they said.You-what from have you mastered?Chen Shi, Wudang, shaolin,Yang shi...so how many years of practicing?who are yur masters in China?so plse no talk like this.Mnay froms has many ways of appliications.self defence, etc., OK! u know?

  • Zhang Sanfeng?Tall Three Crazy/Grow Thrice Crazy?

  • this is the waterbenders kung fu they use

  • @8447michael lol apparently not in m. knight shamalan movie

  • nice , where can one find that music?

  • Plse do not compareChen style taichi to Wudang taichi. Most moves are very very diffirent and in diffirent applications in self defence!.Yang style and others are in fact too mild or slow in their self defence applications.thanks...plse visit Wudang Mountains to know the diffirence!!!

  • @ChenTaichi72 your teacher should have taught you not to denegrate other systems. and yes you are in case you werent aware. any slowness of defense was a fault of the person showing you, not the system. I've seen all tai chi used effectively.

  • @Bastion83 I agree with you. Speed is not an issue in Chuan (the martial aspect). The form is practiced slowly to root and unite the body. Whether it is Yang style or any style of T'ai Chi Ch'uan the Chaun should not be broken like in other martial arts. This is were we get our strength. When attacked this should be second nature. An attack should be aborted and the attacker should be taken out quickly. If one thinks the speed of the form is the same as the application, they don't understand

  • shaoemn u are absolutely right. i would like to add to some of these unrightful comments.I f u have not learn or have not been doing basic taichi or kung fu plse do not anyhow comment on Wudang taichi and kung fu.Appreciate if you can be more sensible. Visit Wudang Mountains and see for your self.

  • Yes it takes a long time to be good at internal arts, but in Wudang they also do external, that is why the instructors are in really good shape. Unlike so called "Tai-Chi Masters" that concentrate on only doing Tai-Chi. Those guys may be able to hit someone hard but are fat and aren't at their peak which they could be at. Just like a black belt in karate who stops learning because he thinks he knows it all.

  • Very pretty.

  • what song name????

  • @MyxTap4ik did you get that song info? I'm tying to figure that one out

  • Great . I did not relize how much energy it takes to do Tai Chi

  • what the song name???

  • 张三丰

  • Why would you stop showing the guy performing to show the building, shouldnt you show the building first then at the end. Frustrating.

  • Comment removed

  • that is much different from the form im learning, omg. so beautiful too.

  • First song is from: Tai Chi Master.

Also known in the US as: Twin Warriors.

Great Kung Fu movie, be sure to watch it.

The song plays at the end AND beginning.

  • Hi anyone know the name of the song please?

  • music is gorgeous!

  • The dimensions in which Tai Chi, or any internal art, can be applied (such as combat), has all to do with one's individual level of cultivation. An ostentatious person, an egotistical person, a person of little understanding and wisdom, a lustful person, such a person is not cultivated enough to apply internal martial arts. MMA are easy to apply for real combat because they do not require the individual to grow spiritually. Internal MA does require this.

  • If you see the IMA fail, it is ther person that has failed. Not the Internal Martial Arts, whoms strengths show truly when one has united with the Dao and transcended one's personal being completely. It is no wonder so few can truly demonstrate the power and beauty of internal martial arts.

  • @ShaoMen Beautifully said

  • @ShaoMen so what if you are about past, present, future and combine that with beauty than what would your internal art be since it belongs to time.

  • @ShaoMen you don't need spiritual growth to be good at fighting

  • @risingsun08107 you don't need to be jacked and a UFC fan to be good at fighting either... just saying.

  • @risingsun08107

Internal energy and ones ability to use that energy ties in with the degree of virtue one possesses, or ones level of achievement.

Physical strength has a limit. Spiritual strength can go beyond that limit.

  • @ShaoMen oh please

  • @ShaoMen

Tai Chi can also be described as moving Qi gong.

Now science is showing that it works by strengthening the core muscles (transverse abdominus, pelvic floor muscles, multifidus among others) and by deepening breathing. There is also the fact that the movements require a good level of motor coordination and concentration.

There's also the fact that the one-leg stances and the moving of the center of gravity might help slow age-related balance deficits.

  • @ShaoMen that is not so as energy is indifferent to your or anyones "religious or moralistic views" in fact it is energy not Dogma. and so although i would love to believe what you have written, it is misleading and false. many texts have been written of wicked and "evil" teachers who can rob people of their energy succesfully and, some of the monks were as evil and corrupt as ANY police or government, or average person can be. dont believe me? then you need to study history on the arts more.

  • @ShaoMen Could you please show me printable illustrations of the 13 forms? I'm trying to find peace within myself and I think this would help me. I've been practicing different kinds of martial arts since I was 7. Now I'm 17. I always trained hard that I forgot the importance of being soft.

  • @ShaoMen so the person practising internal ma would be more honest and honourable than he would be if he did not?

  • Comment removed

  • So beautiful :) Nice balance ;)

  • Is this chen style tai chi chuan?

  • Wu Dang.

  • @TJ4FP

    fuck off the style

    creativity for the win

  • What no its not !!!!

  • Tai chi is a very aggressive and violent martial art.

  • LOL

  • Can tai chi be used for fighting?

  • yes, i heard somewhere that if you speed it up its like kung fu or something

  • @ChenW33 there's an old saying about tai chi... "if done right, it is the most dangerous art." so i would say yes it can be used for fighting if you are well trained in a practical, martial sense

  • hello its called Tai chi kung fu if done right for over 40 sumthin years us skinn will b as hard as iron and u can easaly kill!

  • 各位大大有人知道背景音樂名稱請告知...謝謝

  • tai chi wushu co mu se venujem a vyucuji ho je to pekne.

  • *** Taichi is the hardest to master out of all Kung Fu's, but once understood, it is the master of all Kung Fu's ***

  • Carefull believing ANYTHING from a guy named Bigfatdick.

  • It's the artists not the art that is the master.

  • @smudge6699 got it you really are of your own design or you shaping the form of yourself.

  • @PhuQuangLe111

Then be of no design and formless, fluid and ever evolving, the effortless action of nature, moved by that which is.

Tai Chi, an eminent spiritual will with focused cognitive stillness in slow physical motion.

Many can stand physically still but their mind is everywhere all at once, few can do the opposite, still the mind and yet move with physical grace.

    :-)

  • does anyone know what the name of this song is and where can i get it?

  • its in the beginning of the film tai chi master if that helps

  • sounds alot like "wong fei huang"'s song.

"a man of determination" "a man of strength".

    I forget the exact meaning.

  • Has anybody here ever trained at the shaolin temple??? please reply

  • theres two types of taichi

taichi is for martial arts and also body care

  • would love to spend all day doing tai chi in some remote mountain monastary in china... but i have to settle for my suburban studio apartment watching jeremy kyle.

  • You can if you wish.

Check out "Deyin Taijiquan Institute (GB)" through google.

They do bi-annual trips to China and you get to train with Prof. Lei, The Shaolin Temple, Buddhists, and the Purple Cloud Temple in the video above obviously Taoists.

They also have Prof. Lei over for revision classes.

    Hope this helps?

  • a quit peace has taken me. one day master i shall return. to the mountains.with my soul.

  • The shaolin Kungfu is not for sold as the wudang kungfu. Mmmm I think you cannot forced monasteries to make war although as the society had changed... This is a mistake.

I remember a documentary on shaolin who show thousands of student going to shaolin schools for one day became policeman or a soldier in the Chinese army... Shaolin is not made for this kind of slavery...

For those who understand Try to find real chinese books of the history of monasteries in China...

  • WHY?

  • i love this music aim come from nederlands and my sport is kung fu

  • It's been said that Zhang Shan Feng was a former student of the shaolin shrine who was expelled and later on he derived Tai Chi from his own development of skills. The buddhist nun who created wing chun also is a form of shaolin martial arts. Looks like shaolin martial arts taught by Bodhidharma (菩提达摩) has produced lotsa different styles but 1 thing is clear. Those martial arts involves inner strength.

  • Build the power. Move the power. use the power.

  • i like this! for people who love qi gong or tai chi also watch MyAstroLife's Qi Gong videoles. its very nice especially when you are a beginner!

  • very good

  • I practice Qi Gong every day with giantic passion ! Qi Gong is my life ! I am a Qi Gong Junky ! I can´t life without Qi Gong ! I hear when i doing Qi Gong Vocal Trance or Psytrance,Goa but this Qi Gong Music like i very much ! What is the name of the artists and the both songs ? I need this ! Plz ! Need such music for Qi Gong !

  • Can you indirectly practice qi gong by doing tai chi?

  • qi gong builds the power, tai chi moves the power, fighting applies the power. tai chi is moving qi gong.

  • Hmm... I never knew that. Thanks for telling me. But is there a certain form of fighting that works best?

  • Opening song from Tai Chi Master...a movie...I think...

  • yep. check it out. one of jet li's finest films

  • wow original form from Zhang Sanfon.....

  • me encanto la soltura de los movimientos realmente un gran maestro es interesante aprender de los maestros.

  • I think it would take me 5 lifetimes to learn this form, starting at age 5. but the music is really something

  • his chi is so fluid, his grace of motion beautiful

    thank you for sharing

  • How is the name of musical the video..????

    Pleasee!!

  • 5 stars!

  • Hahahahahahahahaha. It's good to that there are people who care about tai chi so much that they are willing to argue about it over the internet. Even though it's barbaric, it's still refreshing.

  • agreed because this form that zhang san feng tai chi chuan is also allowed to kill those whom defy the practitioner of this 13 basic form but if u dont use guns and any modern day weapon but ownly use spears and sword in combat with these masters, which if they choose they can use wepons or not to take the opponents life.

  • Hello! I want information about this music. Help me please! Thank you!

  • I AGREE LMAO

  • how does this look like cod 5?

  • For SELF defense.

There has been savage people who used the martial arts to kill rather than defend themselves and others..

  • so if someone picks a fight with you, you can't hit him first?

  • Nope.

If he attempts to hit you, and you know martial arts and he doesn't, he won't be able to hurt you..

  • actually the ultimate purpose of martial arts is NOT to defeat an enemy, but to defeat yourself - your incentive to fight the enemy. It's about the ultimate peace state that one achieve after learning it. After one has learn martial arts to some point, he no longer feels the need to fight. That's the true purpose of martial arts.

  • while that is true in the old days martial arts still served 1 ultimate purpose warfare

  • martial arts is for daily purpose, to defeat any problem not warfare in general but in life

  • well it started as out used in war when it was taught to the public u had to create ethics and principles so ppl dun use it 4 the wrong reasons like using it to harm ppl but all form of martial arts always began in war

  • I am sry to disagree but it is a known fact that the shaolin monks used martial arts to gain back the energy after meditating same as wudang martial arts but i can see where you are coming from because of all the weapons that can be used after learning these forms but then even shaolin monk at the start only used spades and long sticks they used for brooms were only used to protect the temples from wild animals and bandits

  • i dun believe kung fu started in shaolin maybe wat is knwon as organzied martial arts started in shaolin but great generals like teh chinese god of war guan yu was knwon 4 hsi fierce martial art skills 300 years b4 bodidharma even visited shaolin

  • the word martial comes from mars, the war deity from the greek pantheon

  • Martial arts are to cultivate the mind, to strengthen the character, and bring disciplined people into society.

Martial usage is just a small part.

  • @SoundwaveSuperior373

You are right to question this. If one looks up history, India where Bodidharma came from had not developed any martial arts at that time which remotely resembled those from Shaolin Temple. The only possible thing that Bodiharma brought to Shaolin was Yoga.

  • @chansee1 You are wrong, Índia develop Kalaripayatu, one of the most ancient martial arts and probably mother of Kung Fu

  • How do they get the bow in the roofs of the temple? interesting masters of building and martial arts.

  • This is a recreation based on Yang's high stances with no wave. He made an upper class Tae Bo in his day. The original 13 postures were stationary, Chen familily added the transitional footwork. As to people saying Shoalin influence is bad, Chen Taiji comes directly from Southern Shoalin with influences from Jiang Fa's principle based Taoist arts which are now dead. What everyone does today comes from bastardised Chen Style& PRC wushu or Yang style.

  • And Zhang Sanfeng Tai Chi practised at the Purple Cloud Temple up Wudang Mountain by Taoists priest to this day?

There are two theories concerning the origins of Taijiquan. One derives the style from Zhang Sanfeng, legendary Taoist hermit from Wudang Mountains. According to the other the Chen clan from Chenjiagou village developed the art in the 17th century in central China's Henan province. Lack of convincing arguments leads to never ending disputes between followers of both sides.

  • There is an actual book written by Zhang San Feng that is called "The Secret of Training the Internal Elixir in the Taiji Art", which is the first source of true Tai Chi Chuan. In my opinion, the question is more in whether Chen Wang Ting developed another version on his own.

  • It's a good point, and thanks for the book reference.

How ever Tai Chi started, with one centre or two, does it really matter?

Surely it's HOW you play YOUR Tai Chi not which style is the best.

They all seem to work for those who are diligent.

    Thanks for you reply.

  • It's not playing Tai Chi Chuan. Tai Chi Chuan is a martial art. Those who practice it as though it is not do not practice true Tai Chi Chuan.

  • As a musician plays their instrument to create their art, music; the martial artist plays his instrument, his
