As an American, when I watch Australian or British shows, and they have an Aussie or Brit playing the part of an American, I cringe too. They never get it right...ever. TV executives all over the world are to blame for this. They're all too cheap to fly someone in to play the part!

Bet its two timelines, one with the survivors of 815, both groups in 1977 & 2007, and the 2nd timeline caused by the incident in Season 5's Finale where the flight never crashed and thus return of characters who have died. I however believe the 2nd timeline will go wrong causing events that will kill the characters. E.G. Charlie probably die about the same time Desmond first saw Charlie's death, maybe he's with Drive Shaft.

season 6 ends in a knife duel between jack and john. Just look at the opening of season 1 where jack wakes up with knife wounds around his face and body as well as john's. John realizes that one of his shoes is missing and if you look closely during the opening scenes, you will see his shoe hanging on a branch while jack runes to the crash setting. "Our skies lead to your destiny" - destiny is something important in Lost. And 1979, that could be around the time the losties were in season 5. Hurley's "heaven" could mean that they have all died. Hostesses: claire, sun and kate? Oceanic logo also looks like an eye.

Actually, because the bomb detonated, it would have destroyed the island and in doing so killed everyone on it. This inevitably effects everyone who was on the plane. Because they died in the past, their lives will start to loop, but because the island was destroyed, the lives of everyone on the plane will play out exactly the same until the plane ride from Australia. At that time, as we have seen throughout season 5, time will begin to course correct itself. However, what will happen is unknown

no, the bomb did not destroy the island, it happened as it always did happen, just like pierre chang said in one of the dharma videos a couple years ago that there was an "incident", and the bomb exploding was the incident... the characters that were there got transported back to the future thats why jacob said "they're coming" before he died at the very end of season 5

That's a pretty good assumption. However, it might not be true. "They're coming" could have meant something unexplained... LOST has a tendency to do that. However, I will agree with you that it happened like it always did happen, because like seen previously in the show, time has a knack for course correcting itself. But the blast would have killed everyone in the area.. I don't think it transported them anywhere.

Nope, wrong. The bomb did not kill everyone because it was altered by Sayid before Jack brought it to and drop it in the "hatch". Didnt you watch the previous episode to the finale?

all the alteration was supposed to do was make the bomb detonate on impact... just re-watched it. And that was actually part of the finale. Anyway, that didn't even work.. and on top of that, it's a hydrogen bomb.. plenty enough to destroy that island, as Sayid even says at the beginning of the episode.

I´d like to think that dropping the bomb in the last episode did turn back time, and the plane never crashed. The people from the island survived, they landed in LA just as they where supposed to, but eventually they will begin to have flashbacks and see things that happened on the island.Charlie, Boone and Ana for example will see them self dying and so on...that would be cool... Can´t wait until February:)

If you watched Season 5, then you should know that what has happened, happened. There is no going back. That also suggests that the dropping of the bomb, also happened once before and we are not seeing it for the first time in the show.

Of course is Walt and Mike. One of the most characteristic and cool elements of at least the first season was how all the characters accidentaly met or crossed by without noticing. Sometimes was hard to notice them, but others were pretty obvious, can't help the idea of the parody of scary movie 3 from Signs "watch the video carefully, is around there somewhere" Oh, do you saw it?" It just means Jack's plan worked... However... remember about "course correction"? If an important event is prevented from happening at its appointed time, it is simply delayed. ie: Charlie.

They likely only postponed their arrival on the island, and this final season will likely be a desperate rush for Jacob and his Nemesis to defeat each other(Answering questions along the way).
