Look, the reason that grievous is so gay now is because when Episode 3 was being made, George Lucas had a cough, and thought it would be cool to add his cough to the general, forever fucking up the character.

He needs no reason, he's fucking George Lucas. And honestly, I'm tired of Lucas and his now shitty story telling. He has destroyed the Star Wars universe with his shitty show, destroying and contradicting the amazing work done in the Expanded universe. Look at the first tv series, amazing.

It may have been Windu's Force Crush that made Greivous cough, but you'll notice that his coughing stops after the scene where he talks to Darth Sidious. So the Nemoidians repaired him as best they could, but maybe a vital circuit was damaged that aided him in his lightsaber combat. Maybe this circuit couldn't be repaired, so they had to wait on a replacement to come. Anyway, if only his chest hadn't been crushed, and they had spent more money, they could have made a much better fight.

At first i thought, like you do, his breathing problems were caused by Windu's crush. But, if you watch this new serie, the 3d one, Grievous is already coughing and he hasn't met windu yet!! So it doesnt make any sense to me anymore..... I thought he was easily defeated by Obiwan because of windu, and he couldnt be that badass fighter as he used to be on the animated clone wars serie. But it seems it is because of the not-developed-yet technology on his cibernetic body... Here's a plot problem..

On the 3d series, grievous is shown as a loser, some way like the team rocket on the pokemon series, always talking about revenge after being defeated and forced to escape. It's disgusting... I've always been a fan of general grievous since the old animated series before ep3 was released, and now they've turned him into a clown.... Hope it answers your question..

The reason why he sucked in ep3... remember his coughing? The Nemodians simply stopped reparing him. Palpatine needed Dooku and Greivous dead. Dooku followed his orders but Greivous was his own animal. So he had the nemoidians sabatoge him so he'd be weak enough for one of the jedi to kill him.

As far as I know Grievous coughing was caused by Windu's Force Crush on him just before he left the planet. Also there was no time for the Geonosians to repair him since Dooku's death made him the head of the CIS forces and with the task of guarding the Separatist leaders he didn't have enough time for a repair, due also to the ambush of Kenobi.

the reason grievous was not badass in episode 3 becausse during the kidnap of palpatine, windu attempted to stop him and used force crush which destroyed his lungs and organd and armor which made him cough alot in 3 so he looked shorter however in the clone wars movie if they do show him that is, then all of u grievous fans will be happy to know he is just as badass in the movie as he is in this...although i doubt if the movie is 100% of what is in this short series

Hit play from the beggining on both as close to simultaneously as possible; hit play on the music first, then the video. The music matches up almost EXACTLY, and makes for a MUCH better video!
