He is right, Jesus is Lord. He is who He says He is.  The bible is the written word of God. We have to study to make sure that we are not led astray. Some people are raised in false religion and stick with itb but you will still be held accountable by God.

"There's a difference."

The difference is that the New World Translation is much more accurate than most of the Bibles available today. WE didn't "invent" any Bible, there was just a group of faithful Christians who, using the most reliable texts, and with God's spirit helping them to attain correct understanding of His Word, were able to come up with a MUCH MORE CORRECT AND REFINED translation which shoots most of christendom's erroneous beliefs in the foot!!

Also, we don't rely ONLY on the NWT, I personally own AT LEAST 10 different translations!! We are taught accurate meanings of Hebrew and Greek terms! I myself sometimes even use a website that will give a Bible verse in many different translations!! Where the problem comes in, is: Once you've come to an ACCURATE knowledge of God (John 17:3) and the Bible, there is SO MUCH error and mistranslation in worldly Bibles!! When reading NIV, for ex., I will often often find myself saying, "Yikes!"...

...when coming upon verses that mean the EXACT OPPOSITE of what the original texts ACTURALLY SAID!! One example is, at Phil. 2:6, where one accurate translation says there, "...who, although he was existing in Gods form, gave no consideration to a seizure, namely, that he should be equal to God. 7 No, but he emptied himself and took a slaves form and came to be in the likeness of men." Whereas erroneous translations say something like, "...thought it not robbery to be equal to God..."!!!

....meaning something TOTALLY THE OPPOSITE!!!! Jesus gave no consideration to a seizure, that he should be equal to God.....and yet, in the KJ, it's saying the exact opposite, boldly claiming that it was nothing presumptuous on Jesus' part to make himself equal to God!!

See what I mean?! These older translations contain THOUSANDS of errors, because nobody's bothered to ever check out the correct lexical meaning of the actual words in the Bible!!

My former issue was with the reference of Jesus as 'Lord and Savior.' This was my ego having issue with the idea of a Lord being above thyself. However it is true, that Jesus did come to earth as an expression of god to act in the role of Savior. Lord is defined as Master. A spiritual teacher is understood to be the Master/Lord to devotees. So it is seen, that the ego's argument is simply Semantics.

So I accept Jesus as my 'Lord' and Savior. However 'I' am separate from the Christian Dogma.

Negative Karma is the result of acting out of the Ego. Sin is the act which creates negative karma. These are the same. To take on either, is to take on the other.

When the guru eats the oranges, or Jesus sacrifices his life, in order for one to receive the blessings of these acts- one needs to be in relationship to the actor. So that what one sees, one knows, one believes, and it shall be for he, and he alone who believes. This is a metaphysical/spiritual relationship.

Ok as a member of the LDS church (mormons) I have to correct a few things. We DONT believe in 3 gods. We believe in and worship god the father in Jesus' name. I have much proof (using the KJV bible) god and jesus are separate beings.

As time has gone on this concept has been added to, by the creations of stories to help guide people on this core path. In my view its the stories which have then created all these religions. I do not believe there is any wrong religion if the underlying message is the same.

I saw your video and was interested in where you are coming from. I have always been interested in faiths/religions. I have no faith or religion but in all my studying I have taken the following views, which i thought you might be interested in. All religions (apart from the newer ones people have created) have the same basic under lying message, there is a higher being/s, which we should believe in, We have to live a good life.
