that was stupid because if they liked each other so much, they wouldn't go their separate ways, they'd stay with each other. and there is no distraction with members of the opposite sex, if anything, there needs to be more foreplay and sex between men and women. sure, maybe they were all a bit young for that given the age their characters were in that show, but with them becoming adults later on, that's when foreplay and sex between men and women really needs to happen, especially by the 20s.
