in Dawn of the dead the fact that they run makes no sense because there muscle tissue is decomposing perhaps the first 5 minutes they could run but after that there muscles would be to weakend from decomposition they would just fall apart thus ending the zombie plague yep

zombies dont nead to breathe. the gasses from the decomposition building up in the body are excaping. and the gasses fill the pockets in your body that arent already filled. such as the stomache and lungs. the zombies flex and thus the gasses excape making it sound like their breething.
