Da' Tarra is one heck of a horse. It stinks big brown lost, but common, lets pay attention the that amzing wire to wire win.

2:29.65 (2:29 3/5) is a poor time on a day the track was lightning fast in another race a horse went 1:21.85 for 7 furlongs, and race 1 went 1:08.80 for 6F obviously fast track conditions and the winner won easily against a medicore field at best, we will not see this horse Da' Tara prevail again in another Grade 1.

Dutrow, Big Brown's trainer, said Big Brown had not received his monthly steroids since mid-April. Skipped mid-may. Thought it wouldn't make any difference. Well, IT DID!! April dose took him through KD & Preakness, but totally off cold turkey by Belmont. As of 2009, steroids won't be allowed, all can compete equally.

Looking at the replay, I noticed that Big Brown was very wrank early, and was really bothered by the tight quarters going into the first turn.Desormeaux really had a hard time making this colt relax.I also noticed the development of foam between the hind legs.Some people refer to this as "kidney sweat",which can make the horse uncomfortable.He really wasn't running comfortably at any point in the race.Desormeaux gave him some urging,but there was just no response.By the 5/16 pole,he was done.
