  • 8:14 - God this is hard. The best part of entire video, grip and speed

After all, this is so far far away of F1. It has 8000 rpm less at peak and much worse capacity/power ratio of NA engine. Those who state "pure F1 sound" must be def or something...

  • Production version should have a v6 hybrid, but will retain the FR based chassis with SH-AWD.

  • Pleeeeeaaaaaaaassseee PD put this in gt5 :) one of the best racing cars ever?

  • I could listen to this all day!!

  • Say hello to the new Bat mobile!!!!

  • its a rip off of other cars lol the front end looks like 458 italia and the back looks like a nissan

  • @wrecklessfun Are u blind?

  • @wrecklessfun nah mate it looks like the kitano touge sport from burnout paradise

  • yo..this gonna be 2+2 seat if it's produced.

  • awesome car and sound, hopefully they bring the street version to USA.Honda has a history of keeping more performance cars for japanese market

  • JIIZZED IN MAH PANTS FROM THIS SOUND FUCK YEAH BRO

  • Anyone notice the audio is out of sync - look at the end of the pit straight and the braking times in comparison to the engine sound...the audio portrays that they're still going flat out?! Around the 2 min 05 sec mark

  • @jamesmksmith

It takes time for the sound to reach the camera, by the time the car is that distance away (maybe 3 quarters of a mile), the sound takes around 3 seconds to reach the camera, hence the delay between the brake lights coming on and the sound in the video.

  • Too much to produce or not, even if it is, its a halo car, and can chalk it up as a part marketing expense!

  • 1:30 ---- LOLLLL She would rather read the newspaper than watch those cars fly by

  • i want it!!!

  • Un sueño...

  • Carbon Fiber black FTW

  • Hyper Speed Vehicle!

  • These sounds are addictive!!!

  • so addictive I preload them so I can do choirs around the house while listen to this bliss!

    heaven sounds like this

  • 撮影ご苦労様です、そして、Up有難うございます!音の響きがやばい・・・・

    本田万歳~!トヨタへたれ~~~~

  • I could listen to this sound all day! INcredible. Please Honda give us a new flagship for the road too!

  • this is the first time ive watched something in youtube for more than 5 mins. amazing sounds, its definitely Ralf's 2005 car

  • another reason to watch some japan gt this year. mainly cos of this BEAST of a car which honda made. good job honda, hope this will be available to be sold to public soon, cos all gt cars have to ahve a certain amount of production cars! WOOO

  • honda found a loophole so that they could get around the production thing, I think it says in the rules that you have to have production plans for the car, meaning it shall be production ready not in production. so they are allowed to run this machine even if they don´t have a road going production model.

  • what about USA fans, where can we find this on tv?

  • im pretty sure this thing is capable of revving to 18,000 rpm or more. honda has a v10 that can do it easily so i assume this can too

  • actually it has a 10.300rpm redline, it is a 3.4l v8 out of formula nippon.

  • 18000 wow you wish thats f1 territory and some bikes.

    you really over exagerrate

  • Shoulda, woulda, coulda.....

  • Man, the multi-gear downshifting at 6:36 sounded phenomonal...

  • my girlfriend thought i was watchin porn, well thats what i thought too.. we made love after seein this..

  • OMG!!!! this is it.... ok make it.

  • wow so controlled

  • that engine sound is orgasmic x)

  • i`d sell my soul for one of these....

  • i want this NSX !!!

  • BATMAN!!! narararararara BATMAN!!! AWESOME I want 2!

  • Whats the Redline on this thing?? Anyone??

  • @JDMEXforme don't have :)

  • Restricted at 10,300, but the engine is capable of more revs than that.

  • @JDMEXforme

    9500 RPM ;)

  • not saying ur wrong b/c i don't know for sure but this is not the V10 as reported b4... this is a 3.4L V8... it is highly unlikely they are making the reported 500hp+ w/o revving the hell out of that beast... I'd say a minimum of about 13,500rpms... i'm being extremely conservative too... my real guess would put it higher than 15k...

  • Super GT is rev limited to 10,300rpm. The engine produces more than enough power to meet the 500hp limit and is air restricted so as not to be over.

  • Thanks for giving a "non-bashing" response... I didn't know they were limited like that... Heck I wish I could even find when this stuff comes on TV to watch... I'd love to watch it...

does anyone know when the season starts??

  • Thanks for the info... I can't wait to really see this beast in action...

  • yeah i think it starts in march not too sure what date, around the 16th

  • i want it!

  • hondas type Rs have so much r and d that they dont make them for profit thats why the are limited production they do it for the passion of racing. anybody that knows honda knows that they almost went bankrupt because the founders love for motocycle racing. but the JGTC 500 regulations have changed to a FR 3.4L V8 and they have to run that setup to compete same reson toyota made the LFA.

  • who gives a shit, just enjoy some top quality motorsport noises while we still have them!

  • "RotaryD19" When are you gonna stop being an idiot?

You said the HSV is going to cost too much to produce? Where are you getting the numbers on how much it cost? Did you know every supercar cost a lot to make?

The Lexus LFA costs Lexus a lot to produce. Did they produce it? Yes. Clearly you don't know shit. I would like you to find me a link that says how much the the HSV cost to make. You can't just say random non facts. GTFO IDIOT.

  • "RotaryD19" Now you're targeting at me for proving your wrong. Its funny how you just been proven wrong, so what if they canceled the NSX reproduction and the S2K.

It doesn't mean the they won't make the HSV a production car in the future.

I stand by the fact that I proved you're wrong. Your original point is the NSX is not the HSV, which clearly you're wrong. The NSX is the HSV-10 but renamed. Also as a track car, and won't be any in production as of yet. So maybe production in the future.

  • Typo.

    EDIT: Please learn some English.

If I didn't correct myself. An E-Fag like you would clearly flame it.

But seriously learn to read. No one said there will be a production model. There won't be one yet. Might be on in the future.

And the HSV is the NSX renamed. So stfu and deal with it. You obviously hate Honda.

And I obviously hate flamers like you.

  • @NigguhJason

Wow, for some one who isn't a fag, you sure do have a lot of time on your hands.

My original statement doesn't bash Honda, nor did it say I wouldn't want to see a HSV being produced. Anyway, seeing how you know me so well, you'll know I know enough about the NSX and S2000, to Not hate Honda. I haven't been pleased with them since they axed the NSX and now the S2000, but it doesn't mean I hate them. So You sir, can STFU when it comes to what I do and don't like.

  • Your evidence to prove its not a NSX fails also. Just because the old NSX had a V6 don't mean the new one has to have one? All newer model cars have a better engine?

Example: The R33, R34 engine is different from the R35? So the R35 is not a GTR anymore? You fail sir.

Honda clearly said, the NSX will be reborn, but only as a track car and under the name of Honda HSV-010. No production version as of yet. Please learn to English. I think you need to learn how to argue also. Fail more idiot.

  • "RotaryD19" I love the way you can't read kid. I said, Honda released a statement saying the Honda NSX will be reborn as a track under the name of Honda HSV-010. Making the HSV basically the NSX but renamed. I didn't say it will go into production. The statement clearly said its the NSX renamed as the HSV, but will only be in track form. Idiot you need to get your facts straight. This was on AutoBlog, and other sources. Even YouTube's FastLaneDaily. GTFO POS IDIOT. Come back when you can read.

  • FINALLY THXS HONDA!!

made a car to prove honda still gots it

take that nissan / toyota lol

  • Seems like good down force. Car doesnt get fishy at all.. Looks a little like the Ferrari 550.

  • Yep. That's definitely a V-10 in this particular car.

  • There is no doubt in my mind that those cars are running 10 cylinder engines. They may be putting V-8's in eventually, but the cars on the video do not sound like a V-8, I don't how high you get them to rev.

  • they are using based on F1 engines? F1 engines can rev very high , and everyone knows that Honda can rev highly

  • Formula Nippon V8

  • as Nutcracker33 said, honda is probably using formula nippon engines. and i thought those are v6s?!

you cant tell the number of cylinders just from the sound...

  • Yes, they are formula nippon engines

  • and how many cylinders do these engines have?

  • it's a 3.4L v8

  • ok. thx.

  • when F1 used to use V10's you can clearly tell the difference to when they started using the V8's... it's almost like a great symphony... people who don't listen to that music will never tell when an instrument isn't tuned properly or a not is skipped... but people who do listen to it will be able to critique the hell out of it...

  • In fact, how could the Mazda Furai missed the GT500?

  • F1's are V8's since 2005.

Also, the Corvette is a V8 and the Astons are V12's, thats why they sound so different, it has nothing to do with the crank setup.

  • "RotaryD19" Actually you're wrong. The Honda HSV-010 is the NSX but renamed. According to multiple sources like AutoBlog. Honda released a statement saying the NSX will not be made for the public, but it will be racing as under the name of Honda HSV-010 for the SuperGT. The Honda HSV-010 is basically the NSX with a different name. Please don't give out false information when source state, and Honda releasing a statement saying the NSX is renamed to the HSV for the SuperGT only, no production.

  • aren't there homologation rules in super gt?

  • Autoblog IS my source.

If you can link me where Honda said they would mass produce the HSV, then I'd greatly appreciate it, because that's something major that I missed.

But don't argue that the HSV is a NSX. It's not, I'm telling you. It's a front mounted V8. Last I checked, the NSX was a rear mounted 3.0-3.2 V6.

  • エコカーでレースとかしないのかな?

  • Awesome I love the sound of that car

  • amazing. Do want

  • The front end looks a lot like my S2000. I just wish my car ran and sounded like that.

If they go into production, I will be the first one in line.

  • i just came in my pants.

    and i'm a girl

  • V8 sounds like a V10... Sounds soooo good. I am pulling for the new Honda HSV-010 to win the SuperGT Championship in 2010.

    Go Honda!!!

(would of won an F1 championship)

  • All i hear coming from that V8 is Nissan and Toyota's Super GT V8's are gonna get gRAPED!

  • ive never seen a v8 sounding this good

  • ti eftiaksan oi poustides!

  • @andreasadem GAMHSE TA

  • nething with a v10 sounds great.

  • @ultima15 this is a 3.4 v8 though. still sounds as good as a high rev v10 XD

  • The HSV 10 is NOT, repeat NOT, the "New" NSX, or even a NSX GT. This is a completely different car, with a different purpose. As of Right Now, this is not going to be produced. This is only for the Super GT in Japan. Wither or not Honda will mass produce the HSV, is still under question and debate. Let's all hope so, shall we?

  • no, but to compete in the GT500, you need a car, that is in production, or will be in production, it says in the rule book somewhere.... right?

  • @RotaryD19

I agree, up to the point where it's not going to be produced.

Show me a car that has ran in the Super GT in Japan that hasn't been built in production.

  • Link me the "production" model then if you please, I would love to see this.

Seeing how the auto industry changes and flip flops on a nearly daily basis, I may be wrong, Now. But Then, that information was current and more less solid. A week is enough time for anything to happen.

  • @RotaryD19

Show me a link first of a car that was built for the Japanese GT500 but was NEVER produced. I can think of 1 car.

I never said there was a production model. Usually there is a track model, then later a production model. Judging from how well the GT500 NSX did, it would only make sense to make a production version of it and capitalize on it. I can't think of the last time Honda built something that wasn't designed around the concept of making money off of it.

  • @battle680

Honda + RWD + Capitalize = ? Not only are they hell bent on front engine front wheel drive, they thrive on it. They even said that the S2000 was made for Honda's anniversary. They never intended on it lasting 10 years, but it did. And even after ten years S2000 is beloved by countless and then they axed it. Same with the NSX. I highly doubt Honda is thinking they'll walk away with profit. There's no way. The HSV just costs too much to develop.

  • the car only has to be production ready... it does NOT have to be produced and sold to in the marketplace...

  • fanks intornetz datuhbaze

  • Super GT regulations state that you cannot enter a car that IS NOT production ready... This car IS based off the new NSX that WAS/IS production ready...

  • @RotaryD19 It will be produced the word is out

  • haha sounds like an F1 car!! one of the older ones. Nice vid btw

  • Interesting! We should all start to think about what will gonna be the Ft-86 GT300 or the next Impreza GT300 and the Lexus LFA GT500.

  • @esurfer26 I second that!

  • your pos camaro will never be even close to as fast as a Super GT car and sounds like shit. This car probably makes as much downforce as your heavy as shit car and your fat ass together and has a suspension and chassis setup that would shame a fia gt1 corvette. You realize these cars run significantly faster than gt1 cars? I highly doubt your car is even on that level. Stripped time attack dedicated cars that make 600-800+ whp with amazing car setups run almost as fast as these super gt cars.

  • Snake, you're a moron.

  • @snakesinmypants I dont think it would even sound faster :D

  • unless your 7.0 has SC, or some crazy Nos set up, and the best suspension system on earth, it wont even touch a GT500 car. not just the NSX, or the HSV, but the slower ones too... LOL

  • holy shit. that sounds obscenely awesome.

  • Holly #%#^!!! Awesome sound!

  • what is this? for le mans? it sounds like a F1

it looks so fast around corners...woow

is this for a japonese championship?

  • its for GT500 championship in japan. and, its actually the next generation NSX. they say they are coming out with a production edition of it. 3.4L V8.

  • i thought they ditched the new nsx, due to the stupid climate!?

but cool they keep it coming. who cares about climate anyway :P

  • thats new news to me. i really hope they keep the car. it is looking awesome///

  • yeah...a few months ago honda said they would ditch the new nsx, because hybrids were the way to future...

read in a jap car mag.

  • thanks sooo much for upload good work!

  • アップロードありがとう!!

  • i bet the one with bronze rims belongs to ARTA lol

  • damn!!! that's F1 engine sound, I'm wondering when is the road car comming out?

  • @racekidishere i heard that they used the Formula Nippon engine

  • sounds very much like it.

  • good job!

  • 音いいね

  • all Honda fans out there are now happy !

    THANKS HONDA !!!

  • HondaF1car on the stage of GT500!

  • very nice car!
