Thanks for the info. I've found a lot of little Ray Price gems. Found his recording of "Born to love me" on ebay. I think it's better than the Ray Charles version.
Ray made four recordings of this song between 1958 and 1962, trying to get the tune to come out the way he wanted. This version was the next to last, recorded on July 13,1961. I think it's the best version.
The most comprehensive Price collection is the Bear Family 10 CD set which was issued back in 1995, which is where I found it. That collection has every tune from 1950 thru Danny Boy in 1966. You may still be able to find it.
Travel back at a time when Coors was the king of beer and Ray's music was a reson to drink it.
