This sacrifice was to save you and me. Jesus died the death that we deserve. Without Jesus we would be condemned because we are sinners that cannot meet God's standards. While this movie was very graphic, it showed just how much Jesus went through to save us. He went through all that because He loves us! Sinners undeserving of love. I pray that all will come to Him who gave it all and washed us white as snow!!

"Chris and Conrad" are the ORIGINAL artists of Lead Me To The Cross. BOTH Hillsong and Franchesca Battistelli are knockoffs. Both very beautiful, but not the original. I personally prefer the original by Chris and Conrad, but Hillsong would be in 2nd place, and Franchesca in 3rd. And this is in no way reflecting negatively on either of the female artists versions, as they are very beautifly as well. Its really quite rare that another artists vesion of the original ends up actually better.

Even when we were UNWORTHY of your sacrifice, you still gave up your life to save us humans. Salvation is probably just a story. He supposedly came, to save the" immortal human soul " from eternal damnation. Yet nowhere in the scriptures is the " Immortal soul" mentioned. The concept of the "immortal soul " like the concept of the "Trinity" was introduced into Christianity by Tertullian, some 200 years after christ. Thus he came to save something that nobody knew even existed.

@hitadel42 First God does not hate; because He does not know evil my friend - God cannot hate, only we can hate, God has nothing to do with OUR hate. as for Jesus being the son of God; He is God and Mary gave birth to Him because of immaculate conception when God preserved Mary from original sin (not to be confused with Jesus himself who was born to a virgin, Mary wasn not) this happend when she was baptised.
