This is Phil, the guy who came off on the Video. I shattered my elbow in 5 places, will be off work for a year. Now held together with a titanium plate and 10 screws. Already back on bike but just doin flat ground riding to keep fitness up (just dont tell my Dr, Haha!)
The bridleway goes around the flank of Mam Tor, not over the top via the trig point - noughty noughty!! Don't give the red sock brigade any more ammo mate, besides the ride round the side is much better. Liked the shadow rider bit - that was cool.
Thanks for posting this. Many of my old riding haunts on one vid. I used to ride here in the early 90s on a bike with no suspension mind! And then I moved to Denmark. Heady days indeed.

Great video, we did the run starting from edale finishing of with Jacobs ladder, a fantastic route one we'll keep coming back for.
