One of my alts is an elemental shaman, and it's a lot of fun. I may choose it as my main when i restart playing. And with the upcoming "dual spec" it's even more tempting.

I wish there was a way to move all my mounts/pets to my other characters. Maybe like the "bind on account" stuff. :(

Elemental shams rape period. They have high crit success in spells and dish our great dps damage. Enhancment Shams currently are dishing out just as equal or better DPS dependig on gear and who's playing it, i'd give both classes an 8/10. If ur Ele or Enhance... whats the point of having rape DPS when ur survivablity is shit...CC blows and you get raped instantly if u get in range as Ele or simply out played and OP'd as enhance...

First of all elemental has always been shit in 2v2, 3v3 bracket. While enhancement in s3 could get competative in 2's 3's and 5's (being best in 3v3). Resto is good in all brackets but enhancement is extremly mobile and can avoid cc (you and your teammates) ridiciously good

Some patch notes:

Buffing totems now last 5 minutes and have a larger radius

Enhancement shamans have feral spirit, which summons 2 wolves under the command of the shaman, they hit about 90-150 each attack and have a dash ability

Elemental shamans have thunderstorm, which restores 5% of mana and knocks back all enemies within 10 yards by 20 yards, dealing around 1.1k damage (and if elemental mastery is up, all targets in AoE will be critted on)

Restoration shamans get Riptide, a decent HoT

You still realize that its a 51 point talent and has a 45 second cooldown right? Sure, it doesn't cost any mana and has a knockback. But 20 yards? You can run that far in 2 seconds.

Compare this talent to spirit wolves, they do around 200 damage a bite, heal you for the damaged caused, can stun, can make you and the wolves sprint, and have a taunt button. AND last for 45 seconds.

I just think thunderstorm should really get a huge buff... or drop the cooldown. Right now it's pretty useless.

Actually Shaman are one of the more balanced classes for WoLK, each spec got buffed a lot. Even enhancement is more unique in that you may actually want to add intel and spell power to your gear because intel gives you attack power now. Don't worry shaman are still great, we can even turn people into frogs at 80 :).

Everything insane that has been given to the elemental shaman for pvp talent wise, has been either nerfed or gone completly.

Thunderstorm nerfed to 5 yards.

Paralysis removed. replaced with lava flows.

The chance to root on frostnova removed.

They only have 3 pure pvp talents in the tree now, thats Reduced damage when CC'd, Less spell interuption and a snare given to fire nova totem.
