Well I cannot speak for all people in the centre, the same way the American president cannot speak for all Americans or you cannot speak for all people on the right. But I for one am not ashamed of America and I do not think that America is to blame for all of the world's problems.

I still don't see any problem with that bow. The last time I checked, Saudi Arabia was a client state of the US, not the other way around and to me, a bow is just as good a sign of respect as a handshake, a thumbs up or a friendly "hello!" In many cultures, bows are a very commonplace form of salute, e.g. Japan.

I wouldn't be so sure about what he would do with Osama. What we can't get over is why so many people voted for him. He gave us his plans to nationalize the private sector and to cause utility bills to "necessarily skyrocket". A lot of his "supporters" are now backpeddling. Not so fast, jkirk. I'm a Christian and a Biologist. I don't believe everything in the Bible verbatim. I see most of it as allegories to pass on to later generations.
If I were to grab a human from early earth and bring him to 21st century earth, whould he write about cars and planes and skyscrapers? No, he'd write about great beasts, silver condors and majestic glass mountains.
So I take a measure of care when I read the bible, because their points of reference were limited back then.
