the reason why they never made a cab cossie, is, 1 its to heavy. and 2 the escort cossie is realy a chopped ford siara shell, which can handle 5 times more power than escort shell. nuff said

The Cabriolet front chasis legs are not strong enough to cope with the cossie engine. I recently bought a second hand hood from a mk5 cossie cab conversion. Both fron chassis legs were pointing outward do to the extreme power. Maybe a very very large stut brace will do lol!! Cabbys have larger thicker sills to help cope with not having a roof. Great motor anyway i have done the same to mine just waiting to buy paint this week then il make a video. Mine is going to be Imperial blue.
