I feel sorry for all of you caught up in the buying and trying (stylus) game all of these alleged stylus companies have you stuck doing. There’s only one stylus for touch screens and that’s STYLUS-R-US. They have 35 different styluses, all with the same tip that requires literally zero downward pressure. i bought some rubber 1s bt removed the rubber and replaced it with conductive foam nd rounded it out

I bought this stylus and it absolutely sucks! It is so unresponsive, the pen is just useless. It scratches your screen and works half the time. There is No ease of use, you have to use such great force that the lame foam had is compressed every 10 seconds. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!

@Yanixzl Yeah because it has a type of grease/oil in it that keeps the playdoh "moist", they don't use water because water would evaporate much faster than oil/grease.

Ummm... I think the touch screen uses heat, not electrons... Btw, my bro took a pencil and put a thin layer of cotton on the end and it worked, but it fell apart. Maybe if you could figure out a way to get the cotton to stay on, it would work.

I think I have solved it.. I have a way to create the ULTIMATE iPhone stylus... A simple (and relatively cheap) cone-shaped prosthetic addition to the tip of my finger works like a charm!! Now I can paint like a pro in Colors! and freak out that weird dude who sits next to me on the train.. Woot for me! :)

From the looks of it, it's that same kind of conductive foam used to protect computer chips from static electricity, so if you have any of that conductive foam, try using that.

you wouldn't be able to use a DS stylus. like someone else said: the iphone screen responds to the electrons in your finger. so you need a special stylus to reproduce that effect. a DS stylus cant do that.

um... no you cant because the styluses for the nds are just hard plastic while the iphone/itouch cannot use it because the iphones multi-touch screen uses electricity rather than normal touch screens because you are always haveing little electric currents in your skin so the iphone detects that not just a crappy fucking plastic stylus

I have an actual iTouch Stylus and it works great. The tip has an air pocket in it allowing it to move as a finger would. I dont think it is electricity because its a rubber tip. Some say your finger nail does not work but try this. Before you cut your finger nail. Leaving enough to flex on the very tip. Put your ipod on the screen to slide to unlock and flex the tip of your finger nail on the ipod and it will work. I believe its fluctuation that the ipod and iphone work with.

there are many reasons, big fingers, don't want to dirty your ipod with smudges from your fingers, this would solve those problems, I don't mind smudges because they're only visible in the sun and I don't text so my fingers aren't a problem

If the iPhone incorporated handwriting recognition (i.e. Windows Mobile Transcriber) then a stylus like this would be invaluable. But thus far it really doesn't, so I'm not sure if it's really worth it.
