Actually when we look at the universe the big bang makes sense. Black holes are very tiny object but are very dense. They have the strongest gravitational strength in the universe. If you understand basic physics gravitational strength depends on the size of the mass. So it does make sense to say that our entire universe was compacted into a small dense piece of matter. The cause of the expansion could have been the formation of a white hole.

As a Christian I fail to understand why other Christians are so against the Big Bang. For one it was proposed by Belgian Priest & physicist Georges Lemaitre. It isn't evolution. Its basic ideas go along with what the Bible teaches. A beginning to the universe. A great event, "let there be light". The word "firmament" is from the hebrew "raqia" (expanse), from the root "raqa" (to stretch out, spread out, ect). Surely an expanding universe & still is. God hasn't stopped creating. Amen!

In science it's normal to change the terms used, it would be silly to keep the bad ones. For the "expansion", it's not bcuz an explosion couldn't be prooved, but bcuz that term led to misinterpretation. Also, the space is actually expanding, it can be observed (that lead to the theory of the big bang) and works with the phisics laws (no braking, no speed loss). Finally, for expansion, only the biggest bodies separate. Keeping their smaller composants within them bcuz of their own gravity

Even Paul who wrote most of the New Testament, never met him. He got his knowledge of Jesus through revelations. Actually when we look at the universe the big bang makes sense. Black holes are very tiny object but are very dense. They have the strongest gravitational strength in the universe. If you understand basic physics gravitational strength depends on the size of the mass. So it does make sense to say that our entire universe was compacted into a small dense piece of matter. The cause of the expansion could have been the formation of a white hole.

The Big Bang is still a somewhat disputed area of science, it is at the very edge of what we can reasonably explain. I can't say I totally agree with the theory, personally.
BUT
If the Big Bang theory has a single shred of testable proof, then it has more than all of the holy texts, of every major religion. And therefore, it is closer to the truth.
Your 'God of the Gaps' is more fallible than all of the shaky evidence science has ever discovered combined.

The Big Bang did not happen in space (as in, the space-time continuum). The space is expanding. A misconception is that the universe is expanding into something.

As a Christian I fail to understand why other Christians are so against the Big Bang. For one it was proposed by Belgian Priest & physicist Georges Lemaitre. It isn't evolution. Its basic ideas go along with what the Bible teaches. A beginning to the universe. A great event, "let there be light". The word "firmament" is from the hebrew "raqia" (expanse), from the root "raqa" (to stretch out, spread out, ect). Surely an expanding universe & still is. God hasn't stopped creating. Amen!

The moon IS moving away from the earth but not because of the expansion of the universe (an observed fact btw). Wow, there are so many things that are dead wrong in this video, I don't know where to start. First off, no proponent of Big Bang Cosmology has EVER claimed it was an explosion. It has ALWAYS been referred to as an expansion, period. Prove me wrong, I fucking dare you! The creationists are the liars because that is the only way they can cling to their bonze age beliefs.

In science it's normal to change the terms used, it would be silly to keep the bad ones. For the "expansion", it's not bcuz an explosion couldn't be prooved, but bcuz that term led to misinterpretation. Also, the space is actually expanding, it can be observed (that lead to the theory of the big bang) and works with the phisics laws (no braking, no speed loss). Finally, for expansion, only the biggest bodies separate. Keeping their smaller composants within them bcuz of their own gravity

First of all: Evolution is not Cosmology. The Big Bang and Natural Selection have nothing to do with each other.
Second: The expansion of the universe is a fact as clear as the Earth is round. No matter where you look in space, stars and galaxies are moving away from each other.

@CreationsTruth before the "Big Bang" there was a ton of energy in little space. The energy soon expanded so fast it was considered an explosion, within seconds the energy turned into matter, and the matter was hot and clumped together with itself, creating planets, moons, stars, etc. The reason our moon orbits around us is because of gravity! we're still around the sun because of... gravity!. Galaxies are getting father away, not the habitants of those galaxies.

Gravity holds the planets in place around stars, and moons in place around planets. The moon is actually getting slightly closer to the earth with every orbit, as are the planets to the sun, this is because of the gravitational pull of these massive objects. Gravity is a fact, God (and all religion for that matter), is a belief, something with no actual physical evidence for, created by humans to explain what at the time couldn't be explained and to keep the masses under control.

The one thing humans cease to understand is that no one knows who created anything. Scientists know themself that big bang couldnt have comed from nothing, but that it started out as nothing doesnt mean that there wasnt and isnt something beyond the border of the universe.
