It's so strange ... there's another video of him singing this on YouTube that I thought was absolutely awful. Here, he's wonderful. Great singing.
The staging is really WTF? I mean, where's the window? Where's Elvira's maid? Why are the Don and Leoporello both rubbing on Elvira? And why was she okay with it? Then why does she get so mad when she discovers Leoporello in the sextet? It just doesn't work.
