I LOVE that you can only play as 1 soldier in an army, its more realistic that way and you just have to build your soldiers career from the ground up instead of hey i feel like playing as this team then hey i feel like playing as this team instead. i dont see it as a problem at all.

1)Does this have local multiplayer?Or any local activity at all?

2)Does this have kill streak awards?

1) No local multiplayer, its MMO only. It is kind of a MMOFPS, which is why you join a faction and then join clans within that faction.

2) No, there is kill streak music, and there is ribbons for extra XP and CP at the end of the match. There is just so much potential for killstreaks in MAG, my biggest being 29, that any perks would be a bit much.

3) There is no campaign mode, but there is a bit of back story. Most of the story can be seen on the web site, new news casts.

i met someone on ps3 home who always plays mag i like war games but not rainbow six call of duty or gears resistance or halo the war games i like is killzone 2 bad company wolfenstein and red faction and other games but idk about mag wats mag like playing it

You can switch factions once you get to level 60 but you don't unlock another character

I heard on a podcast, that once you hit level 60 on your first faction, you could then choose another, without deleting the first faction that you have chosen.

you cant switch factions because they want you to feel a sense of achievement with the one you choose.

The Hell would be the point of a WWII game if you could jump between Germans and allies in the same game. no sense of purpose. thus giving you that clusterfuck COD syndrome

You can also change faction at level 60 but i think the main reason they make you stick with a faction is so you actually become "attached" with your faction i know i didnt describe that well but i cant think of anything else

I know what you mean.

You start to get to know what type of people are more prone to join what faction.

A lot of the time it seems the whiney kids hover towards Raven.

I'm with Valor and we have pretty good unit cohesion 90% of the time.

The SVER guys are just beasts and everytime we battled them we had to bring our A game.

Nothin is more satisfying than rolling through Raven's bases with mah squad just dropping people left n' right.
