  • oh, one more thing. Because i have the shareware version u did know that it only lets me play as guan yu and jang fei, right why do you know why's this

  • Shareware version is basically a demo. The full game is available as freeware. Check the video description for the download link.

  • @DWTerminator LOL! It feels strange to see your first review, DWT!

This title seems interesting. Do you know other freeware DOS fighting games, despite this, Super Fighter and One Must Fall 2097?

  • Yeah, I've come pretty far since then...

As for other freeware DOS fighters... I know of none.

  • @DWTerminator Shame, at least any DOS fighting game, not freeware? Thanks for the quick answer, as always.

  • Actually I forgot about one (freeware) called Xenophage: Alien Bloodsport (it's on 3D Realms' website)... but it's not very good. Apart from that I'm not aware of any DOS fighting games except MUGEN, which has been converted to Windows.

  • @DWTerminator HAHAHAHAHAHA! That game looks ridiculously awesome. By the way, searching on YouTube I found another Dos fighting game as well, which you might be interested in, since it's give as freeware by the company who made it. I don't know if you heard of it before, it's called Timeslaughter, and, to be honest, it looks horrible, but I guess it would be interesting to try, just for the laughs.

  • would it still work

  • If you run it in DOSBox, yes.

  • but i have the shareware version :(

  • how does guan yu do all his spiritual moves on the key board

  • There's a help portion in the game that details all the characters' moves.

  • Nice review, it's different from the contemporary, good work!

  • I remember playing the shareware version of this, way back when. Nice review!

  • Glad you liked it.

  • Romance of the three kingdoms...interesting I've never seen this version before

  • The game's only *very* loosely based on Romance of the Three Kingdoms.

  • oh I see

  • china makes games??

i thought only USA and Japan makes games..

  • Of course China makes games. Most of the big names are made in the USA, Canada (Ubisoft & BioWare, for instance), or Japan though.

  • @DWTerminator: I thought Ubisoft was European.

    Also, Rockstar was originally Scottish...

    or so I heard.

  • After taking a look at it... Ubisoft's HQ is in France, so they're French I guess, despite their development being mostly in Canada. Rockstar is American (New York, specifically), but has holdings in Europe and Canada as well.

  • max payne is from finland

  • Yes that's true. Remedy's a small studio with only 4 games to its name though (2 Max Paynes, Death Rally, and Alan Wake).

  • Loved the review. I'm subscribing.

  • Glad you liked it.

  • fyi made in taiwan...china did not make pc games until late 90s...

  • Well, it was translated from Chinese, so I assumed it was made in China. My mistake.
