I wonder if the experiment would be even better using 1 ball and two axially magnetized cylinders attached horizontally. Then, when blowing through the straw you will have the surface to push and on the mirror you will have less friction.
What that says is very true with regard to the friction with the mirror, it can be done with three balls stuck in the form of a triangle. But increasing friction with the air and balance becomes a problem blowing on the system.
its not endless... there is no such thing as endless movement, but its very impressive how long the are spinning
