Mike Douglas did have a nice voice. Luis Bonfa was asked if there would be any new sound coming out of Brazil. There were new things, of course, but I don't think anything since has had the impact and freshness of Bossa Nova.

its amazing that such a beautiful kind of music came out of brazil and yet bossa nova is not recognized in brazil. They dont give a shit for bossa. They like sertaneja, a mix of everything they can put together and then call it country music....if you go to the country of bossa nova you will find a bosta nova (new shit)
