It looks a lot like the Aeon T1 LAB from Supreme Commander. Only not as good. It wouldn't be able to walk either because of such a greatly offset COG. It doesn't appear to be able to shift it's weight either.

It's a good starting point, but I m sorry to say that, you have used a single texture for the whole body and legs; it looks pretty flat to me and, my tough, pretty uggly :( . You could improve your moddel by adding a proper normal map and shadow on the legs. From now the legs looks like featureless booms, especialy seen from the front. I m pretty sure you can improve it by adding some volume and a properly detailed texture. Anyway keep working you are on the good way. :)

I had originally started it before seeing the game but was unhappy with it so it sat in the depths of my hard drive.

The after getting SupCom and seeing how cool they were I loaded this back up and managed to fix the problems I had and now I'm rather pleased with it.

Only very minor parts got based off SupCom since most of it had already been built.
