I am Orthodox by Background, naturally when I came to faith I wanted to find a truly Orthodox Church, this is why I am in a Southern Baptist Messianic Fellowship Church. When Shmuley talks about Jesus saying to Peter that he will deny Jesus three times, he must be accepting of the fact that Jesus clearly predicted the claim. So it doesn't help his debate here. Shmuley must support that Jesus is able to tell the future and that Jesus is God for this to be possible. Yet, he uses it to confirm the lies of Peter and the predictions that Jesus is able to see into the future.

When Shmuley talks about Jesus saying to Peter that he will deny Jesus three times, he must be accepting of the fact that Jesus clearly predicted the claim. So it doesn't help his debate here. Shmuley must support that Jesus is able to tell the future and that Jesus is God for this to be possible. Yet, he uses it to confirm the lies of Peter and the predictions that Jesus is able to see into the future.

Lets face it, when it comes to "racism" and being opressive towards others the Jews are no better. There is a reason why the Germans went berserk, their hatred of Jews came from nowhere, Jews were the main responsibles for their incredible suffering after WW1 and Weimar Republic period. He calls Peter and Paul liars: How can Peter a man who was filled with the Holy Spirit be a liar. And the verse where he says that Paul confesses to lying is taken out of context. Romans 3:1-8 Paul is saying that people were accusing him of saying that it was okay to sin if some good came of it. "Their condemnation is just".

Over 3 million non-Jews died in the holocaust, unfortunately, I found Rabbi Boteach, being racist & political by telling half truths, I was disappointed that he generalized groups of people, and at no time did he admit that the reason that the Romans became involved is because Jewish lost the rule to put anyone to death, as prophesied in Genesis 49:10, as the time that the Messiah would come. The very fact that they admit that Romans had to judge this case shows that the Messiah has come.

This guy is so full of it. Jesus is not a scholar, He is the Messiah, Savior and the Christ. The "Passion of Christ" was not about "Jews killing Christ". It is about the prophetic path Jesus had to take to fulfill the Heavenly Fathers plan for our salvation. He should know that Christians follow the God of Abraham, Isaac and Daniel.
I can only pray for him and all who missed Jesus' message.

I say to you, it was not the jewish, or the romans that killed Yeshua. If they killed Yeshua then how can Yeshua be the perfect sacrifice. God had to Sacrifice Yeshua, like Abraham had to Sacrifice his son.

It is utterly immoral for any Christian to hate the Jews today because their long since dead ancestors rejected Christ.
This fact does not blot out the truth that it was the first century Jewish religious leaders that orchestrated his death at the hands of Pilate which Christ himself said would lead to the destruction of Israel. As happened in that very generation.

Now, that doesn't mean we must hate jews for that, don't forget many of them embraced the messiah in the very beginning (the 12 Apostles ring a bell to you all?), as Michael Brown said all christians are in a way 'messianic jews", completed jews, we carry on the tradition of judaism until its high peek: the appearance of the Messiah. Jesus didn't put any real threat to the Roman Empire that is why it is naïve to think the romans were eager to finish him; for them, at that time, he must've seemed like another wacky jewish prophet. Nevertheless the strongest proof of Jesus's divine message if analyzed merely in socio-political terms, is the transformation of the heathen Roman Empire into the recipient of the christian faith to be spread out all over the globe.

First, Jesus (A Jew) was betrayed by Judas (A Jew) held guilty by the Sanhedrin (Jewish religious leadership), sentenced and crucified by the Romans (an Empire consisting of many different peoples representing the world).
Therefore, everyone was responsible for rejecting Jesus Christ.
This is not about deicide, it is about Humanities relationship with God.

The Sanhedrin does not meet at night, it was a kangaroo court in the guise of the Sanhedrin, in fact a lot of the Sanhedrin members were not even there. This was done because Jesus did have a lot of supporters within their ranks(even though the Sanhedrin at that time were all appointed by the Romans). In short the Romans killed Jesus. Now if I were an occupying force would I not install my own puppets that would control the people and who seemed to represent them.

But you can't control all of them which is why the very loyal collaborators silently had him arrested, with a band of temple guards and a company of Roman soldiers. Now if Jesus was so famous, what do they need Judas for to point out who or which of them was Jesus -- (Food for thought)? If he was so famous, everyone would have recognized him right away right?

Judus (a convert to christianity, no longer a Jew), when he betrayed Jesus 'broke down and cried' and jesus said unto him, fear not for it is my farthers will.
Therefore, it was either God, or Judus (killed for being a christian) killed Christ.

@MrGriegos I also add that Shmuley is also misrepresenting us Jews and our history.I came from Orthodoxy/Conservatism and still maintain most of my Orthodox/Conservative Identity(I wear my Kipah and Tassels and have Peyot and a Beard[I do keep Kosher but I take freedom in Messiah by not following Rabbinic but Biblical Kosher(example I will eat chicken and milk together and I will eat Lamb with Cow milk)]and support women in Ministry),Shmuley Says 1thingtoBelievers and then the opposite to Jews.
