I used to hate this music so much because I felt like a juvenile, immature teen whenever I listened to it. I think it was Akira Yamaoka and Jesper Kyd that got me into instrumental music back when I played the games on PS2 and all that jazz, ever since then, it's been ambient music and mostly instrumental. He doesn't take drugs. He takes hallucinogens to open his mind. As far as I know, the whole TOOL band does them from time to time. Even their cover artist (Alex Gray) does them occasionally. They're not fucken junkies and addicts. They're people who take hallucinogens from time to time and come up with brilliant fucken songs like Parabola, Lateralus, Third Eye, etc.

@libbern renholder is a play on the name Danny Lohner and is Danny's nick name. Danny is good friends with MJK and did work with APC. He is a well know Producer and Musian who has done a lot of work with NIN and Puscifer as well of alot of other bands. Look him up, he freakin awsome.

I used to hate this music so much because I felt like a juvenile, immature teen whenever I listened to it. Now I actually take comfort in listening to it because I've done some growing up, listened to other bands and realized that some it's not how you feel about listening to the music, it's about how the music makes you feel.

I think it was Akira Yamaoka and Jesper Kyd that got me into instrumental music back when I played the games on PS2 and all that jazz, ever since then, it's been ambient music and mostly instrumental. I still love the lyrical music, but this stuff is where my heart's at. Amen to that.
