  • five 357 mags or, eight 9mm rounds umm idk about that one might take the mag

i love revolvers even tho they are thick they dont really print

  • have you seen that they are bringing back some j frame no internal lock models hope to see a table top review.

  • hey nutnfancy and veri, which speedloader brands would you recommend?

  • What do i need to do tp obtine a firearm?

  • Nice video but you need to get your facts straight.

The Florida shootout with the FBI brought in the 9mm pistol (high capacity) however in the shoot out the guns were model 13 S&W .357 mag. A MUCH more capable round. In fact Sig produced the 357 Sig for their automatic to duplicate to performance of the 125gr .357 Magnum.

Marksmanship is more important then the number of rounds carried. 1 shot 1 kill

  • The M&P model is 13.3 oz. The one you have here seems to be the airweight model. Therefore, the M&P may be slightly more comfortable to shoot, yet still brutal. Either way, it would be difficult to practice often with this gun.

  • SOLD!!! Im a disabled shooter with limited hand mobility this revolver was the only one able to fit in my hands. sclerodactly sucks!!

  • For all intent and purpose, I will stick to the .38 revolver. That thing can break my hand.

  • @SuperRip7 It's not really hat bad......Fun to shoot actually.

  • 3:10 - nutnfancy - this isone of your best videos but revolvers are not always easy to load. Thumbing rounds one by one at the range is fine, but under stress, or lying on your back, or trying to load one handed is not easy.

  • @Defender78 that's what a speed-loader is for

  • Have one. Carry it when out looking for gold. A very painful gun to shoot with stock grips. Pachmayr Decelerator grips make it much better but still not a gun for plinking even with padded grip and gloves. Very accurate when shooting single action. Probably one of the best hiking/gold panning guns where the purpose is protection.

  • way too light... i'm going w/ the 8 shot 327 pc, at 22.oz loaded is more realistic.

  • @leeradio13 That can't be more realistic that this, since this is already real :D

  • This thing kicks like a fucking mule. Not comfortable at all. It's hard to get use to a gun like this.

  • I owned this pistol about two years ago. Fired 2 boxes of full house 357. Traded it toward a 442 and part of a sig 239. I'd rather put 4 boxes of full house 44 mags through my 4 inch 629 than shot 2 cylinder fulls through this gun.

  • to uzi2004... the yoke was not shaved down enough, thats whats causing the problems with the cylinder from popping out

  • Awsome review! I notice on my revolver the cylinder often hesitates to pop out. Is their a reason and/or a solution to fix this?

  • I don't like the coloring

  • I just bought the S&W model 360, the non-M&P, the same exact thing, without the sights and stainless cylinder. i paid 699.38 including tax. Quite a bit cheaper. Check it out!

  • $870.00 lol just get the ruger lcr .357..put a high viz sight on it...i love mine

  • $870.....no thanks.

  • Where can i buy this revolver ?

  • @axel22lr at a gun store

  • @TheJjiggity some people really are dumb its like asking where you buy food, from a shop

  • I agree with you musicfan18. I also find that 9mm has adequate stopping power. It just MAY take more shots. I have carried a 9mm before. Now I carry a 357. The switch wasn't because of the cartridge, but the size of the weapon. Carrying a full size hurts. I just want to know why nutnfancy doesn't make enough emphasis on caliber when he covers firepower in his reviews. I also criticize him for putting too much emphasis on tacti-cool features on weapons; i.e. rails lasers and flashlight attachment

  • 5 shots of .357 is way more firepower than 8 rounds of 9mm!!!!

  • finally a revolver

  • @03vetdude This came out 2 and a half years ago.

  • @7commenter7 and?

  • @03vetdude You said "finally a revolver" . Finally?

  • nutnfancy, I'm a big fan of yours as much as I disagree with a lot of your opinions. I do have a question on your definition of FIREPOWER. From all the videos that I have watched, I have noticed that in essence, you define firepower as round capacity or ammo count. To me, firepower is not only related to the number of rounds a firearm carries, but the type, or caliber of the firearm. I have watched your videos on the 1911 and you criticize it for its firepower. I think the 45 is quite powerful.

  • @geishpmp I would rather shoot once with a .45 and be done than 2 or 3 shots with a 9mm, this guy never takes ballistics into consideration

  • Ridiculous! For those who think just because someone can talk for over twenty minutes they have their facts straight. Model #163064 (as stated at the beginning) is a 360PD not a M&P360. The M&P360 is model #163074. The weight for an M&P is 13.3 oz. The PD's weight is 11.4 oz. At 9:50 in the video, the PD stamp is clearly visible above the trigger following AirLite, if the Hi-Viz front sight and the grey, titanium alloy, cylinder didn't clue you in. Still not sure check S&W's website!

  • @Timbcokid haha! i was thinking the same thing! these 20m videos are pretty ridiculous

  • Just picked this gun brand new for $488. In FL.

  • @tawbrey863

where did you get that price at? i am in florida too and looking for this.

  • @diablo2184 Shoot straight in Lakeland. Not sure if they have anymore at this price though.

  • @rubadubdubxoxo

dickhead, what makes a troll come to a video and spew their shit all over YouTube?

  • So light...I carry mine everyday IWB and sometimes have to pat my waist to make sure it's there....and in .357 you have stopping power too...I just hope I don't have to take a shot beyond 20 yards.

Thanks for all your high quality reviews.

  • @cobyson100 If you take a shot beyond 7 yards in a defensive conflict, you better have a damn good reason that will hold up in court. If you can, close inside 7 yards if not, run the fuck away.

  • LOL my walmart tripod totally blows XD best comment ever but sweet little gun. i own a ruger LCP, and i think ur revolver here would do a much better job to be honest lol

  • Thanks for this and may other reviews. Informative and down to earth without getting too technical. I carry a 380 auto on my person and S&W 9mm in my truck now but after looking at this weapon in person today at a store I am seriously considering this weapon for my backup concealed carry.

  • m&p revolver costs more then the m&p 9 :(

  • @GrenMoyo I'd save some cash and get the 360(model#160357) which is a Scandium frame with a carbon steel cylinder( $483 @ buds gunshop, Buds#411541101). I think it's like a simple special edition 360, might be a lil' heavier? But, I dont know exactly the difference, but it seems like their pretty light too. Id probably not get the M&P 360, and would just get a lightweight 360. But know how it is when you want a gun to be a particular model, even if ya pay more for the 'M&P name'!! Both work!!

  • @ramalamadingdong1101 shut up, stupid.

  • This gun would be downright painful to shoot in 158gr .357.

  • Comment removed

  • I absolutely love mine. carry and shoot gold dot .357 "short barrel" rounds out of it. the recoil on this load is very manageable. I'll shoot a whole box without any ill effects to my hand :)

  • Love It, BUT... had a problem with cylinder locking up when gun was hot. Sent to S&W, they re-gaped between cylinder and barrel. No problems since, >500rnds. Mine is a very early model, 360SC SN#SCA61XX in gray finish. Nutnfancy is right-on about everything else. Grip does have a lanyard attachment so you can REEL IT BACK IN after firing .357 rounds, ouch! Carry with 135gr Speer GDHP +P , very accurate and comfortable. Always had a snubby, and always will. Still love it. Thanks Nutnfancy!!

  • .357 in a small light weight revolver is to much kick for most . .38 or .38+p is enough power for that subcompact revolver. Revolvers are excellent guns, reliable, dependable, ease of use.

  • good review........

  • my personal opinion is that a bullet is a bullet, and even a small caliber like a .380 or .22 is enough to stop most people when they are charging.

  • i swear this guy could give a 30 minute instructional on how to take a piss.

    shoot the damn thing.

  • nice gun

  • @123123000000 That's what she said

  • I'd love to see a review on the S&W model 500

  • "Sheepdogs" you said? Is that some sort of covert group that secretly blend with the "sheeple" -to advise and back up LEGAL law enforcement? Are these "SHEEPDOGS" [ state or nationally ] endorsed vigillantes? Are they comprised of ex military and police/law enforcement recruits? Boy o' U.S. America sounds more and more like Nazi germany guys, -I regret where you are headed, and saddened you are taking us all with you.

    Good Vid.

=== THE RIGHT TO SELF DEFENCE IS A BASIC HUMAN RIGHT ! ! ===

  • This guy talks too much! blah blah blah.

  • This guy talks too much! blah blah blah.

  • Thanks for the S&W review. I was thinking about buying one.

  • @waseem1173 the safety is right between your ears.

  • Comment removed

  • @waseem1173 why?

  • @ICUPINTHEAIR it sits in your pocket or waistband . you dont want to blow your balls do you lol

  • @waseem1173 good point

  • @ICUPINTHEAIR haha see.

  • Here's some reviews I'd like to see from nutnfancy.

    Sig P232

    Makarov PM

And thats it. I want one of them for ccw, and than a 360. I'd bet the Mak would be a great ccw choice due to it's shape. Aside from weight and the cal I bet nutn would "dig" it

  • Comment removed

  • @romas1995 Another plus for the revolver is that if you take a round in the arm or shoulder, you can always operate a revolver with one hand. You can do it with an auto loader if a round is already chambered and if nothing goes wrong. One failure to eject and you're screwed.

  • 5:24 Thats pretty cool that she killed someone? I know its a criminal but its not very cool....

  • Holy-Terrorist:>*=* me habitually favorite gun!

  • my uncle has that. it truly is featherweight

  • You may want to just get speed strips instead of speedloaders. Because of how close the cylinder is to the frame and cylinder release you can't use a speedloader properly (you have to angle it slightly and release the rounds for them to drop in). I drop a speedstrip into the same pocket as my pocket holster and can't even tell it's in there

  • "If you can manage the recoil, you will love it" You sir are 100% correct. I thought it was a bear to shoot the first few times I shot it but now I love it. I can shoot it accurate with either hand (check my video if you'd like). It's surprisingly accurate, much better than my LCP. I have the MP 340, which has an enclosed hammer and Trijicon sights. I was a die hard auto guy, but this gun changed my perspective and I now carry it every day

  • HI.... BIG FAN HERE.

if I could give you a single advice....(NOT KNOWLEDGE WISE) IS ... to try to make your videos a bit shorter, the review sort of videos, not the philosophy sort...

    Cheers.

  • Have to disagree with the "firepower sucks" conclusion. For a SD weapon, 5 is more than enough, and .357 magnum blows away all other calibers for fire power in an apples-to-apples comparison (barrel length, ammo brand, bullet weight, measured velocity).

I ankle carry and pocket carry mine with no problem, but pocket carry my Kahr P380 leaves more space in my pocket. So, the 360PD usually rides on my ankle with the P380 in the pocket. Both have a Crimson Trace laser and tritium night sites.

  • @wheelguy12 I agree, bullet for bullet a .38 special or .357 mag will make a 9mm look like a pellet gun.

  • @tohairylittlewomen ...and since you agree the .38 is an effective caliber (as do I), given that many .38 loadings shoot a lighter bullet of equal diameter, slower than a 9mm, how exactly do you conclude that the 9mm is a "pellet gun?"

  • @RWT683 well my air rifle shoots a 25gr pellet 1300fps+ standard 9mm Parabellum at 124-147 gr goes 1100-1194 fps. I know the 9mm has way better stopping power then a pellet but compaired to the 158gr .38 special round, which is the standard revolver round in question, the 9mm doesn't pack as much stopping power as a .38. .38 might be slower but hits harder. think slug compared to .308, slug will hit harder cause of weight. Anyways I was just having a bit of fun

  • @wheelguy12 Leaving aside the relative velocity and energy numbers -- which I am sure are of no consequence to the person being shot -- the .357 does perform excellently against hard barriers. But it actually is known to underpenetrate in a flesh medium simply because the expansion is so violent. (Google: Trooper Mark Coates story) So I disagree that it "blows away" other pistol calibers except in excessive noise and recoil.

I agree 5 is enough capacity, except maybe in inner cities.

  • What's the durability of that scandium frame?

  • Can I get a lefty version?

  • How does it feel in an ankle holster?

  • How would this be as a backup weapon?

  • B.A.

  • why does that barrel state "no less than 120 grain bullet"?

  • my dad used to own one like that and its dificult to explain how much recoil that thing has after a day of shooting my hands where bruised the hardest kicking gun Ive ever shot prety fun though

  • Just get the Taurus 905 is the SAME GUN! and cheaper!

  • @Griffith181 Right. I got the Mossberg Maverick instead of the 500. Even sheepdogs need to save $ these days.

  • @Griffith181 the 905 is nowhere near being the same gun.

  • Where's the Ruger LCR review? Please tell me it's on the way!

  • Thanks for ALL your vids! Love them :-)

Just want to add my thoughts on this gun:

    1. I only fire .38 Special (not even +P rated) in such a lightweight revolver. MUCH easier to control, albeit less powerful .357. But control is important.

    2. The single action pull of a revolver is way, WAY lighter that any CC pistol that I've fired. And the 1st shot could be crucial in a defense situation.

    3. TRAINING is key here, with only 5 shots fired under stress - Heaven forbid you have to do so.

  • not much for attachments....i wanted a m203 gl

  • NOT AN M&P!!!

  • I have the Smith and Wesson M&P 340 in .357 and .38. I love this gun the only down fall in the .357 it will rock your world. I suggest to use .38 over the .357 the .357 is just so powerful for such a light weight revolver and very hard to get round on target. the .38 is just right has a little kick but compaired to the .357 its nothing.

  • @langleyFarmer you are correct this is the 360PD not the M&P360. Nutnfancy let me down with this review I thought he was more knowledgable.

  • the 13 ounce version is the 340pd with steel cylinder instead of 360pd titanium cylinder.

  • hey man i really like your videos, your input has helped me make a few big purchase decisions. most are even more objective facts then opinion too lol. have you or will you please do one on the ptr 91 308 ?

  • @goldsut Not really, they have some kick, but its not unbearable.

  • videos good and thorough.. too long tho

  • your reviews are great! really well thought out and explained

  • When Nutnfancy says the "Firepower Sucks" on the S&W MP 360 - he is talking about capacity, not the cartridge itself. Of course being designed for Concealed Carry - 5 rounds is perfect. You can also shoot 38 special out of these.

  • I notice a gap between the back of the cylinder and frame, how would that not be a problem, wouldnt the shell move back the distance of the gap? Im sure it doesnt cause problems because thats how its designed but im just wondering.

  • @android17ak47 I assume a moon clip would fill the gap…

  • If a civilian can't get out of trouble with 5 rounds of .357 magnum you better run!

  • @fire1777 The number one reason i would rather have 13 rounds of 9mm than 5 of 357 is if there are 6 bad guys.

  • @Kylef7735 if you have to defend yourself against 6 bad guys at once, you should really reevaluate what you do at night or what your hobbies are!

  • @Defender78 Haha, you never know my friend, anything is possible.

  • The Buffalo Bore 125 gr. hp .357 Mag load averages 803 ft pounds of energy out of 4" inch revolver and 761 ft pounds out of a snub nose. I'll take the.357 Mag, especially with a few moon clips. I love this freight train feather weight revolver.

  • he talks too much.... god do to the point......boring ( after 2 minutes ) ..... stop.

  • @PUR100PRE This video isn't for you, I guess.

  • you should play with the actions, pull the hammer and what not a little in your videos instead of just hold it and talk for 20 minutes....

  • 800$? fuck

  • @mafiajimmy Yea, thats smith and wesson revolvers for you.

  • when he says in the beginning that the gun is 357 magnum or 38 special, does he mean that both calibers are synonymous??

  • @paikmendez you are able to shoot 38. specials 38. special + and 357 magnum in a 357 magnum but your not able to shoot 357 in a 38 special revolver because the 357 is a little longer cartrige

  • i like revolvers better harder to pull the trigger so if i drop it it wont go off as easily

  • @1bigbottom There are so many safeties internally, the trigger pull weight has nothing to do with safety.

  • is it a double action?

    and how much

  • @TheSlevaslava in the review states that this gun, the M&P 360, can shoot both with the exposed hammer. the M&P 340 like i have is double action only. the one i bought without laser was around $800...not cheap, but high quality.

  • i have the M&P 340, and it does freakin rock my world, especially .357 mag, just insane, made couple of my friend's hands bleed it kicks so hard. it shoots 38 special perfectly. i bought it for personal defense and collection, so i love it! Awesome video!

  • @mattmanm89 does it kick harder than this gun?

  • @mrblade719 honestly, all these snubnose revolvers kick like a mule with magnum loads, but normal 38 special shoots beautifully. this gun he said has the titanium cylinder, so it may kick a bit more than the 340, which has the stainless steel cylinder, but i can't be much more.

  • wow 20 mins about 1 gun

  • when i saw how long this video was i just said "forget it". im not watching something this long

  • why does smith and wesson only make 5 shot snubnoses? is it cheaper?

  • @davidmarino96 5 shot keeps it within the POU as a CCW gun. More rounds = wider cylinder = less comfortable/easy to conceal.

  • @davidmarino96 They dont only make 6 shot, this one is 5 so the cilinder is slimmer.

  • i like this guys videos alot. but,he puts way too much emphasis on "THIS GUNS HAS BEEN SAFETY CHECKED"... we know.. we know.. obviously. any responsible gun owner always checks his firearm..

  • good video, im extremely surprised you didnt make a bigger deal in the caliber of the weapons. Especially when concerned with short barreled concealed carry. The lack of hydrostatic shock with small caliber hand gun rounds makes shot placement crucial of course, but the difference in 38 special and .380 acp is HUGE.

  • do they make these in left handed?

  • revolvers rule

  • I don't think that is an M&P, the M&P 360 has a stainless cylinder. This is the 360PD with a Titanium Cylinder. Just wanted to clear this up.

  • @LangleyFarmer

Yes I believe you're right. I just ordered one of the M&P 360's with a Tritium night sight

  • @LangleyFarmer I like the SC with the scandium frame and stainless cylinder.

  • @LangleyFarmer My M&P 360 doesnt have a stainless cyl. and it is most defineitely an M&P 360.

  • we just bought the Kel-Tec PF9 and everytime we go to shoot it the clip falls out its a factory issue, great gun lots of kick just a safety issue turned it into the factory under warrenty for fix

  • @skandal4 and thats why you shouldnt buy a Kel-Tec. Saving a couple bucks isnt worth your life.

  • I was able to spend a weekend shooting .357's and I couldn't believepeople complain about the recoil. I'm 18 and a little guyand I held onto it fine and according to the shooters I did " a damn fine job" so if I can handle that than my planned .45 should be fine

  • nutnfancy you have to start looking at firepower not only as how many rounds you have but the caliber i would rather have 5 .357magnum rounds than 7 .380 acp rounds

  • @Cutlerylover7 i personaly judge fire power is the area of all the bullets in the magazine so if each bullet takes up 1 cm squared then its total area os 15

  • @Cutlerylover7 and speed of the bullet is a ty breaker uless it something ridiculously different 30 06 30 carbine

  • simple is very good.

  • Thanks man great job beautiful revolver

  • Enjoy your reviews. May I suggest you do one on the Ruger LCR. I have been thinking about buying this Ruger for my wife.

  • Sweet gun. Does there exist models with longer barrels?

  • Why does he keep on saying the "added power of semis"? the simpler action and more solid frames of revolvers allow for great power than semis. Revolvers are made in heavier calibers. This guy is all talk, but he doesn't seem that informed.

  • sweet gun i like it

  • One more point about the M&P 360 3", and this one is a negative:

To make the point of impact equal the point of aim (at 7 yds.), you must align the XS Big Dot sight COMPLETELY ABOVE the U-notch. Having experience with three-dot semi-autos and partridge revolver sights, this is counter-intuitive and must be practiced diligently. Otherwise, your rounds will land 6" low (if you're lucky).

The reasoning is super-fast low-light target acquisition - just line up the frame, point the "dot" and fire.

  • I have the M&P 360 with a 3" barrel and after some practice, here are a few points:

    1) As for size, only the cylinder is wider than a small semi-auto; the majority of the revolver is actually slimmer. Depending on your method of carry, it can have less printing than a semi-auto.

    2) As for firepower, my 360 is easily controlled with high hand hold when firing GS or GD 125 gr. .357 magnum JHPs (I have Hogue grips installed). This round is a guaranteed one-shot stop; can the same be said for 9mm?

  • It looks like a plastic, after your introduction .....which is one of the good option as a backup weaponry.

  • Quick question nutnfancy. I like to watch your reviews. I was wandering is it normal to have shells stick inside the cylender after firing? I just got a new gun Taurus 617 357 magnum 7 shot and after every reload. I have to use a rod from the front to punch out the shells. Will this eventually stop, or is there something wrong with the gun? Any info would be appreciated.

  • a friend of mine just got one of these and i had and opertunaty to put a couple rounds down range firing 357 rounds thru it and found that i did not like it as far as for multipul round target aquisition this gun feels like firing a hand held 12ga it recoils soo hard it wants to jump out of your hand, and to me that makes it very hard to draw a bead on your next target or for firing the next round even for that matter. just didnt compare to my s&w 41mag with an 8"barrel

  • Well what's better, the S&W or the Kel-Tec.

  • nice gun......overpriced but nice

  • when i move to the us i will prob get a revolver for concealed carry backup and a glock 26

  • Glad I don`t need a gun where I live.

  • I like a revolver for personal protection. I just bought an M&P 360 with a 3" bbl. I can't wait for it to arrive. nutnfancy, I like the vids. thanks, jd.

  • Nice report. Just bought a 340 yesterday. Itchin to go shoot it!

  • I'd have to agree that this gun is incredibly expensive for what it is. I paid $500 for mine, so it was worth it for me.

  • I am sorry but I hate Taurus...I have purchased 3 Taurus brand revolvers and all 3 have had to go back to the factory, and when they do they still come back with problems and you have to send them back 2 or 3 times then it takes them 2 months each time to send it back to you so you are out your gun for at least 6 months. I will never buy another Taurus gun.

  • @TheWoollyMammoth im surprised... never gunna buy a taurus. thanks. i like the sounds of the judge... firing tiny shotshells... but i have heard its uncomfortable to fire. there will prolly be more revolvers firing shotshells when im buying guns anyway...

  • رائع جدا

  • nice guns , instructor

  • snubnose conceals better because its in pocket outline is broken up and hard to distinguish as compared to the squared and obvious outline of a semi-automatic

  • SHOOT

  • Hey brother....You are dead on about that female NYPD officer battling three perps with her 6 shot Centennial....Arlene Beckles...killed one, wounded a second and disarmed the third.

  • When Nutn' says it's "Firepower sucks" he's not referring to the caliber. He's describing Firepower vs. Mobility - which referrs to the amount of shots the weapon holds. Yes, the .357 is powerful round and will 100% own - it just doesn't hold very many of them !

  • @Bulwark1911 yes youre totally right but you also have to remember that a gun with such a super short barell loses a bunge of firepower just because of the barell length, even though the caliber is .357 magnum. It will probably kick hard but the power of the bullet leaving the barell will be not as good as a, lets say, a four inch barelled one...

  • u hit someone with a 357 they r hiten the ground

  • The weight listed in the catalogue is probably loaded weight...you're weighing it unloaded
