It's so rare to find someone who is willing to explain it. I used to do this about a decade ago but found out that people didn't understand properly so I stopped. It is so pleasant to find people who understand this!
Holding the mind has to be by far one of the most challenging aspects. As your intellect picks up you can also see how your thoughts enter into the minds of others. I guess the most straining part of this is the stage were you're afraid of introducing bad thoughts.. And there for fear then pours in un welcomed.. But this is only another stage to master. The Peace that comes with this state of consciousness is a beautiful one.. And well worth the time to understand and practice.
Thank you. But isn't there a point to having desire at all what is the reason for it if not to help one to advance in life...can one advance without desire?

@ladyluvbuds I think desire is very good if it has good intentions. These desires he talks about could be greed and materalism and so forth.
