It isn't Gina's fault but she IS being babied and pushed and given easier opponents because she's pretty. Just like Ali was because of her father.
Every indication is that Gina wants to fight LaRosa and Cyborg, which is a really bad idea at her skill level especially on the ground.
But she has guts to want to fight the female incarnate of Wanderlei Silva. Elite XC isn't stupid enough to let such a big draw get beaten.

I'd love to see them fight. Gina is extremely talented at the sport and she's been doing MMA less than Tara has. Tara is just using Gina's good looks as an excuse for her popularity. It's because she's tough, smart, funny, and way more talented than a lot of the female fighters out there. Tara needs to put her money where her mouth is and prove that Gina is all looks instead of skill by fighting Carano herself. Then we'll see who's the best and who is just a marketing tool for the MMA. Gina rox.

She beat Kaitlain young with only 3 weeks of training cause of Gladiators and she still beat her, if she had a full training time shed have knocked her out in the first round. How much does Tara weigh, that matters as well. Besides it said on Gladiators that Phoenix and Gina have the same weight, but they dont look like they weigh 150-155 lbs.
