  • The dedication this band has towards their music videos is surreal.... This is why I will love you guys forever <3.... Well, excluding the fact that I just love your music so much :3

  • Good, but too long

  • For those who are looking for the track on the video, it's the Static Revenger Club Remix.

    /watch?v=r5AXBSpGDHg

  • Trish is such a sweetheart.

  • Every time I see an OK Go video, I imagine every other musician in the world going into a huge depression with the realization of just how uncreative they've been in their own video. Not to mention the complete discipline that it takes for OK Go to get what they want.

  • Holy Cow! I was completely BLOWN AWAY to learn that the whole thing's all done in ONE CONTINUOUS TAKE! (And with no actual music playback...only a click track!) I was assuming all along that it was probably shot in brief sections, and then blended together in the editing room. I gotta say...my respect grows daily for the creative genius...and INTENSE dedication...that these guys put into their unique artform. It's quite reassuring in this current day and age of "artistic mediocrity".

  • you guys are so impressive..keep up the awesome work!

  • I LOVE THEM!

  • Damian loos so annoyed :D aw

  • that was just.. amazing. no other words.

    you guys are something else

  • But.................. HOW???? HOW???? You are f..cking amazing, everything what you do...

I think i'm in love... hahahaha

And dogs dogs deserve the best

  • Truly inspirational for keeping going against the odds! As Eleanor Roosevelt said, you must do the things you think you cannot do. I'm glad they did!

  • where can i get the audio from this video?

lol, love ok go so much!! :3

  • I guess all that's left now is for them to do their next video with some toddlers...

  • Holy crap. This is the dictionary definition of perseverance and hard work.

  • Great!!!

  • aw... I'll never steal a video ever again...

  • They'll never give up till it's perfect.

  • i just.........wow !!

  • I love how there's only one number on the slate because there's only one shot :)

  • what kind of dog is the second one they show near the end?

  • All of this stuff is white... how is it not covered in fur?

  • the music is nice

  • This is an IKEA Commercial! Everything is from IKEA.... Love it!!! :-D

  • This video made me cry. Awesome job, awesome dogs, awesome people who treat these animals so well. Congratulations!

  • Wow...I was still SUPER nervous at the end even though i knew that take would be perfect.

  • aaawesome <3

  • Just awesome...

  • D'awww, Damian at 8:48 going "Come on, FiFi!"

  • wow! just so many to take in during the rough take of the video that you have to watch it over and over again to see everything that's going on

  • i actually cried, seeing all these effort you guys put. the simplicity, the concept, and the attachment of your concept. im a designer, so i know whats it like to have this strong ideas, and when things gets tough u thought what the hell and settle for less (easier) so glad U DIDN'T and u nailed it. so thank you :") for the inspiration.

  • that's what i call dedication

  • Wow, you're amazing dudes :D :D :D

  • that last take they show is actually the take that's in the video

  • "TRAINERS" *Shows a picture of a White Dog* 10:44

  • They are amazing.

  • A lot of smart people at work here! Congrats guys, the video is amazing!

  • 122 takes on the first day! and 72 takes on the last day! Jezz! xD

  • the end is a joke, yes?

  • Was it W.C. Fields who said, "Never work with animals or children!"?

  • 03:54! The dog goes around instead of through! Classic!

    Tin Tin BAM!!*

    *Name of take 120**

**On the clapper card. With the doggie. 04:34.

  • one of the best aspects of this video are how the dog's tags are wagging like crazy!

  • Looks like so much tedious fun only attempted by gods themselves xD

  • Tim is really bad with buckets. XD Lol

  • @eli12081 Actually, with blind catches such as this, it's the thrower who needs to get it right every time.

  • goat!

  • omg....more than 100 takes....i think i would have cried at around 70....great job, you are now my favourite band

  • i love how in 4:20 the dog drops the buck and then goes to the other like "Who cares, noone will notice"

  • It's so refreshing to see something different these days. You guys are truly unique, creative and very talented. Keep up the great work. It's much appreciated and thoroughly enjoyed!

  • oh my god satan like it look 666 likes

    Fantastic ! Excellent ! Awesome !

  • I really loved watching this! Thank you! I always listen to this song when I'm done. The video always makes me smile.

  • That jack russell at the end looked so tired. Just looking at his trainer like "Are we done now? Please?" So cute. Anyway, love the music, love the videos, love the hard work. Keep at it guys.

  • @JamesMooreRapedMyAss It's terrible that our Fuhrer James Moore raped you ass :( I know he will make up for it my leading us in the 4th Reich. Heil James Moore Heil!

  • At the beginning the phrase "Never work with animals" came to mind, but even if they got frustrated I think they were very happy with the end result. This music video always makes me smile ^^

  • Wow, I never really thought about how much work it all would be with the dogs and everything... That's amazing. Thank you for showing us the outtakes!

  • It's amazing how much time, effort, and practice you guys put into your videos. Great job and Kudo to you OkGo.

  • lol that was funny how the dogs were messing up sooo much!

  • damian looks so frustrated haha

  • Where is the goat?

  • @libeh at 9:35

  • @chalesrolanum6 Yeeeey! :D

  • this band has the most awesome music videos EVER

  • So if they messed up how come it looks like it was in one take?

  • @mapo11 at 2:29 you see everyone clapping and happy because that take (number 72) went really well from start to finish and this is the one that they ended up using

  • @mapo11 they have to redo the entire thing from the beginning. that's why there were so many takes.

  • Incrível, que trabalho!!!! Parabéns !!! Clip maravilhoso

  • Not upside down - it's an "end slate" marking the end of a take

  • fisrt mastek was the card was upside down lol

  • @GameShowFan94

omg NO! I didn't put it was instrumental? YouTube gods strike me down, I had no idea people couldn't figure out that it had no lyrics...oh wait..its the same artist, and same song...just no lyrics. Christ! I hope people won't get confused D:

    lol

  • Omg the lady's speech she made me *sniff* *sniff*

  • Why bother putting so much effort?

  • AHAHAH!! the 3th guy from the left his facial expression at 3:30 3 times in a row, when the dog is going the wrong way.. Brilliant

  • hol.y shit... one take.

  • wtf the lady was a bit too into it

  • oh gosh the speech by the lady makes me cry

  • Goodness I bet this was the most exhausting/frustrating experience ever lol but so so worth it cause the video in the end is EPIC

  • 0:31 bucket fail

    1:52 bucket fail

    1:53 bucket fail

    2:13 bucket fail

    3:41 bucket fail

  • @puppy0083 hmm I think I smell a new meme still fresh from the net.

  • WOW !!!

  • Just WOW! What more is there to say!

  • Mental

  • did he sneeze or somwthing at 1:44

  • @chrismofer

Yes he did. I believe it to be related to his being allergic to dogs, or buckets, or something.

  • @MegaHitch123 lol alergic to buckets.

  • That looked frustrattiiinnngggf

  • is the goat in this video

  • These people must have studied with monks. Epic patience right there!

  • Give the director a beer! What an incredible job of coordinating the choreography, music, dogs and people. Sooooooo impressive.

  • WOW FACTOR! :-D

  • tin tin bam! 4:26 :D

  • So happy :)

  • @Exiletheheretic HERETIC! HERETIC! BURN HIM!! BURN HIM!!

    oh, and shitty comment.

  • this is amazing

  • I first heard about OKGo in my science lesson when they showed us This Too Shall Pass. After school I went back to see other videos you did and it is awesome!!

  • This looked like it was hard. I love the fact that you guys didn't give up.

  • Does Damien have dog allergies? He seems to be having nasal issues in some of these outtakes.

  • @leeshajoi Damien owns 3 dogs - so you can deduce whether or not he has allergies.

  • They went through this 131 times :)

  • Wonder if anyone said: Oooh, f...ing dog !!! I guess they did LOL

  • the one dislike was from the goat.

  • @TheHamDaddy one goat and a heretical Fin!

  • Major cudos to Trish Sie (for her choreography and videography). She's awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • genius!!! pure genius!!!

  • This is amazing work. I watched the whole thing and loved it!

  • I don't know why but I started tearing up a bit watching the final four angle version! That was so awesome! WOW!

  • @pattheiceman Dude. so did I. Totally amazing.

  • This really blew my mind when I was watching it.

Your dedications for music and great videos are greatly appreciated. I believe your name will go far and become huge. :D

  • WOWOWOWOWOWOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • This is really awesome!!!

  • thumbs up if you have this amazing IKEA chair too ;)

  • so they did the final one right after the super epic speech? thats awesome!

  • LMFAO 0:30 he tries to get him down!! Super cute moment 2:12

  • I bet this was one of their most frustrating projects.

  • Aw :') 2:12 - 2:13

  • Holy crap.

  • It really is fantastic to see the behind the scenes of your videos. The dogs at the end were really cute. They looked so exhausted, lol. It's a great thing that what you do for your videos are unique. Not the typical, everyday chicks, cars, drugs, and sex. You make videos that almost anyone can enjoy and be inspired by.

Thank you for making such an effort for your fans and for yourselves. It really pays off in the end~

  • @Bubblesv2 You're right, seeing the work that goes into it makes it even more fantastic but I would have been the people who were exhausted not the dogs. We've got 2 collies and you can walk their legs off, get home and want to play ball. Dogs just love challenges, and they would have loved doing this - they love learning new 'tricks' and the more you push them the more they enjoy it.

  • oh my god... I'm terrified of dogs, but this would have been amazing to be a part of.

  • you look at these videos and think - wow, they really must have put a lot of effort into this, but we really have NO idea, do we...

  • Tim has a tough time with those buckets.

  • I love the fail-high-five-smooth-hair cover at 3:08 :D

  • Wow! I just saw the official video today and was amazed.

Thank you for posting this behind the scenes-footage. Awesome!

Great artwork and I really appreciate how many hours that went into that. Such a good job the trainers did!

    Thumbs up!

  • im still wondering why there was a goat o.o

  • @RsKWonder

    Because goats are good dancers!

  • Wow, amazing!

  • I love okgo.

    I am OKGO funclub.

  • I've gotten people to ban me from their comment lists because I don't pull my punches.

With that in mind, I'd like to let you know what I thought about this video...

    It was awesome! :) :) :)

  • The song on this video is called

OK GO - White Knuckles (Static Revenger Club Mix)

    Enjoy =)

  • @SilenceIsStill Thanks!!

  • Comment removed

  • This is totally awesome!

  • Aw man, guys, it all seems so stressful, but it's amazing that you eventually pulled it off. Kinda makes me tear up haha :'D

  • great god this must have been so frustrating to do, i got up to Take 100 and realized the video was only about a 2/5 done!!! it was all worth it though!

  • W00T for 0 dislikes

  • I am so thankful for a band like OkGo and the artists they work with! The music and the message are always inspirational, and provide me with a little hope that maybe things really aren't so bad after all. LOVE ALL OF YOU!!! Thank you so much!

  • Maybe I'm imagining it, but each time the bucket tilts as the dog is trying to put his front paws on it I see the same expression all actors get when a prop doesn't work

  • @neac99 The actor have the same expresion throughout the entire thing.

  • is it weird that i cried at the end? ahahhahha

  • @lzcwby

I cried too, when they started showing the dogs individually xD...

  • This is so amazing!

  • Now I see why you guys look so serious in your videos... lol

  • The final day July 19 was the day after my birthday!

  • Wow! The video's now so much better to watch when you know the story behind it. Bravo to everyone who participate in the making of this masterpiece.

  • how many takes was the final clip done in?

  • @MissRubyRuby Well, in one take obviously, but if I extrapolated correctly, they did get several full takes out of the experience.

  • @MissRubyRuby in an interview i saw somewhere, they said they had about 120 takes, but used take 72

  • awesome video!

  • I LOVE this!!! It's SO great to get a view of what actually happens behind the scenes!! It's as much happening off camera as on. THANKS for putting this up I totally enjoyed watching!!

  • Anyone see the epic foot high five at 7:01 ?

  • I think the only reason they were able to stay composed for so many takes is because they were working with pure untapped cuteness.

  • Working with dead toasted bread must be far easier than with dogs and goats.
