@Mekelsior I'm confused by what you are saying. The high fat mediterranean diet selected by whom? What do supplements have to do with macromolecule ratios? Scullduggery? I suppose high carb is a relative term. To some, going from 40% to 60% is high carb while others 60% isn't really high carb compared to 811. Depends on what foods you favor. The only foods in nature that favor that high carb a ratio are fruits and grains.

Then it is extrapolated into the SAD diet and people are adding extra fat and some glasses of wine and believe it is healthy. I'm really intrigued by the it for its simplicity and of course, because of how much sense this man makes! But I'm still really skeptical. There is soooo much conflicting information on the internet and I'm still skeptical about whether or not you can really get ALL the nutrients you need eating this way without any supplementation at all, ever. @FM897 yes, I fasted for 21 days and I am finally on 80/10/10 fuly and completely..I love it so far..still detoxing which shows a lot. I say give it a whirl..you can always go back to what you were doing and if what you were doing already didn't work, I say why not give this a try?

We do not need any degrees or educational training to follow the laws of nature. We are designed to follow them without instruction, intuitively just as all other organisms do. For example, when the body wants to urinate IT TELLS YOU and it KEEPS TELLING YOU until you urinate! If your body wants to move its bowels IT TELLS YOU AND KEEPS ON TELLING YOU UNTIL YOU VISIT THE TOILET. If your body wants food, sleep, social interaction, heat, water anything which it needs it tells us :)

His concept and presentation of it is simple and truthful, We must go backwards in order to move forward - that is eat how we were God made and biologically intended to eat - plant based raw foods like in the Garden of Eden - and relearn everything brainwashed from the food industry... take back our sanity and health.
