  • Wow, u sing great on the solo.

  • @Slimjimgirl9005 Thank you. :)

  • I'm not sure how I feel about the accents.

  • The harmony is not very strong in this choir, but overall the piece was done well. I prefer the song a capella, but that's just my opinion.

  • thats an awsome song i might get the solos in my choir! but only the frist lines to the everwont to gae on loch lomond!

  • i love this song. We are playing it in my school consert band. It's just an amazing song.

  • im competing at maryland and singing the solo in this song(:

    btw this was fabulous!

  • very good. on the solo just try not to breathe from the chest, it needs to come from the gut. You shoulders should never move. Open your mouth a little more as well. It should give you a more richer sound.

  • @propmastaflash not from the gut but the diaphram

  • That was awesome Alec! It made me remember when you tried for the solo back when I was in choir and we did this song with all of chorale. I thought she should have given it to you then :)

  • you used the chest voice. And you should not move when you breath the air into the stomache. When you do that, your sound can be a childish voice

  • our varsity ensemble did this. it's a great song. you should try moving when you sing, it helps with phrasing, tone, colour and pitch.

  • Alec, you were amazing! Even more so than when I was in the choir too. :3 Beautiful performance, guys, I applaud you all!

  • The song was done quite well until the "wee birdies sing" came in...

  • Do you have any tips?

  • moving when you sing helps with basically everything.

here's a site that could help i dunno.

  • there's a video there, scroll down and watch it if you want to see a different way of singing. it's pretty interesting i think

  • Hey alec, this is jarod, you need to find the mens choral festival on youtube. I really want to find it but I cant. We sound so flat...

  • Excellent Alec - thanks for your beautiful vocals, from a Scottish woman who camped at Loch Lomond not so long ago - Ethan's Mom, Heather
