  • For god sake take out the battery before you mess with the computer...

  • When I installed Windows 7, it was SLOW. It lagged no matter what I tried to do, and it took ten minutes to restart. This is the second time I've had a completely unusable SSD. What gives?

  • sorry lol, i have no idea why i said that ? big misunderstanding ...

  • wow. I really respect you @samussamus1! I do! I am going to delete my old comment now! Thanks!

  • thanks lol

  • wow. thats awesome. When my 64GB runcore ssd arrrives, I am putting windows 7 on it the same day! (I am replacing the 4GB internal SSD instead of the 16GB SSD. I am gonna keep the 16GB SSD for movies and music. I know replacing the internal one voids your warranty. (And the internal one is different than the accessible one. The internal one is basically the same size and form SSD as the Dell Mini 9's is)

  • if you get the 20gb wich parts are SSD and wich are HDD? i thouht 4gb was SSD and 16GB was HHD ? are they both SSD? and when you say internal you mean just under the cover rite? or like Solderd?

  • Both are SSD. The 16GB one is a much slower one than the (already pretty slow) 4GB. You replace the 16GB one (shown on this vid). You can then choose to either wipe the other one and use as another drive or (like me) keep the old linux OS on it and tell the BIOS to ignore it (just in case u decide to use linux again for some reason)
