@flanksteak2: There is of course some issues with this. A person an a standard diet is not likely going to watch what they eat. Simply doing this can drastically increase you chances at being healthy, you would also likely not do other unhealthy things if you are in it for health reasons. That would be nice. I've left a comment before basically agreeing with the video and got the "shut up fatty" response,
There are vegan foundations that try to prove a vegan diet is the cure. Get them to publish peer reviewed articles since they say it is a fact they can cure diabetes and cancer, but I personally think it is simply bias people tying to make it so the only logical diet is their own, which isn't likely to be true. I mean look at the 20x less acidic stomach pH argument. If the carnivore has a pH of 1 this makes the human have a pH of 2.###. A cow with a 6 pH is 100,000 times less acidic.
Medicle science is slow and it is suppose to be. If you concretely pove that veganism is a cure for diabetes, cancer, and heart disease then they will, but as it is vegans do get cancer, diabetes, and heart disease. Also dietitians are not all saying veganism is the best diet possible and they study nutrition. I think this is more you trying to get reality to jive with your ideals.
Great info and impressive lady who climbed Everest. Fruit is amazing...imagine, something like Hawthorne berries can regulate someone's heartbeat. That speaks volumes for the value of fruits which the paleo people say is worthless sugary stuff. I love grain grain products so that's about half my diet, then fruits, veggies and nuts & seeds about equally for the other half. Dreadful? But I do good on it! :-)

@BLHProductions I don't believe veganism is the way because all their arguments generate to animal welfare opinions, not what's best for human health.
However, I have no doubt that somebody could from SAD to vegan and feel a helluva lot better and be a lot more healthy.
Probably best not to argue and simply find common ground as both "paleo" dieters and Vegans agree that lots of organic vegetables are good for you.
