When I was 15 I was getting into trouble & my father decided to send me to live with my uncle in Arizona. The night I left, I went to say goodbye to my grandparents who I was really close with, & when my grandparents hugged me they both started crying & my dog Butch who I found years earlier & who also live with my grand parents also started crying. Even my girlfriend tripped out on that. I'm thinking of writing a short story on my old dog Butch RIP. Its really a great reader digest type story.
the fascinating facts is that EVERY animal has emotion including the jelly fish and the worm but their emotions are expressed differently from us humans. Same for dogs, canines all have emotions but they don't often express them the same way that we do and many ppl make the mistake of overly humanizing their dog's behaviours.
I see no humor in a dog tied to a tree, separated from the people who brought the dog into their lives.
this dog is showing signs of stress and anxiety, often it eventually turns to aggression, a child gets bitten, and the dog gets destroyed for the lack of care and responsibility of the owner.
What a wonderful story.
And, for those who feel such desprate need to force clothing on an already well established coat, that was naturally put in place? It really is not all that cute.
The dog is NOT tied to a tree. He is on a leash because we were hiking trails. He likes to look at the squirrels running about in trees, so i video taped it.
But oh yes, you must be right. What a poor, abused dog.... get a life.
@bordercollieluv no need for that comment man, they look like healthy dogs with good owners to me, dont go anti-animal cruelty on our ass, not that im for, quite the contrary, but some arguments from anti animal cruelty are just... more of a manner of opinion than common sense
@hardcoreguitarpalyer thank you. The dog wasn't even tied to the tree. I was holding the leash with one hand while recording him in joyful squirrel watching. I donate to animal welfare groups, i volunteer, sign petitions, and my dogs are family members. its unfortunate to see comments like @bordercollieluv because it makes the the rest of the world disregard legimitate concerns voiced about animal welfare. ah well. I'm a year late in responding, but thank you!
I don't know how I stumbled across this at 5am but great video!

"more human than you'd think"
It's not like humans have the market cornered on emotions...
Cute video, though. =)

i hear your point, but the video was a response to a psych podcast, so you don't have the full context of the video.

Such a cute and fascinating Yorkie - and so toddler like. I see the human qualities shining through!
