FFXI is for those who need a real sense of accomplishment, where you really work for what you need. WoW is instant gratification, where you can level any time you want, money is really easy to come buy, and NO XP LOSS!? FF has broken so many hearts with lost levels and non drops on 8+ hour pop NMs. But then again, you get that huge sense of accomplishment when you get that rare ass item. Also, its nice not to be confined to one job on a character.

I'm 15 and I've played all Final Fantasies except xi. I have also played World of Warcraft for 3 months and I got 80. For me final fantasy owns WoW. wow WAS fun when it hadn't the expansions. But again, I believe that a game with some online noobs who hate each other and the only thing they say is "heal heal lol xD omg" and other cutted words can't be compared with games with amazing stories, better environments, better spells, kickass characters. For me FF will always be the best games ever.!
The story line for FFXI is legendary, but imo, WoW is the better game, I'd prefer to be able to lvl when i want, not have to sit and wait for a stupid party before i can lvl. For that reason, i feel FFXI lacks!!

Yes but you have to remember, that aside, you're comparing those games to entire FF series, there's been 12 already plus a few others, and more to come, and really Final Fantasy has its flops yes, but it's a widely regonized RPG, and a lot of people perfer that more than Warcraft, at least a lot of people I know.

WoW is veeeerrryyy more easy WoW is for kids ! example: in one day i can have Blacksmithing at level 370 and in FF u will took months ! the shit gear sells in AH but the Elite ones u need kill hard bosses to find in WoW just did BGs and u will have EPICS /laugh SO EASY !! like in WoW we have to make TONS of characters to play with all jobs and in FF we can make one character for all jobs !
