@BhWazza the wildfire is like a smaller, cheaper version of the desire. it has almost all the basic features of the desire (but not better features). the main difference is that the screen on the desire is a high-resolution screen (WVGA) with 480x800 pixels while the wildfire has a QVGA 240x320 pixels display. the other difference is that the desire has almost a two-times faster processor.

so if you don't want to spend a lot of money => get the wildfire.

if you can spend a little more - desire:)

I am looking at getting this on contract which comes with an internet allowance of 250 mb. I would pick up three or four emails a day and maybe check on the tranmere website is this enough. Wow, the first video that doesn't compare it to the Desire. Seen some very bad reviews, where the reviewer kept comparing it with high spec mobiles, not with similar spec ones. I am hopefully getting one of these shortly & your 2 reviews as well my quick demo play with one in the shop has definately sold me. This is far better then the Nokia S60 software that I had one my budget touch screen Nokia 5230, which after 5-6 months crashed and froze. Androids seem to be the way to go. Thanks a lot. :)

Got this on Monday after giving away my iPhone 4 due to constant signal issues, and was not expecting a great deal but got to say I love it dar more than my Apple iPhone, super easy set up, just wish I had got the HD Desire but will do that when my contract with o2 ends. For the £179 I spent on getting a sim free one ( easier to sell on ) I am delighted may never go back to Apple again

@kingslorenzo I agree the iphone is a top phone when it works but since it release I have had and returned 6 to Apple due to a variety of problems mainly call dropping. If Apple sorted out there problem before releasing updates I sure I would still have my Apple phone but since making and recieving calls is far more important to me than playing games or other apps I glad I did what I did. I have now got the HTC Sensation which is miles better than the Htc Wildfire and I very happy with it

then the battery will last for a lot longer possibly up to 14 hours but if you have it active and tturn of the sleep mode the battery will probably only last about 4-5 hours but apart from that minor problem everything else about the phone is brilliant

the only bad thing about this phone is because of all the apps and other things on the phone it uses the battery quite quickly if you have it on for about 4 hours wont last much longer than that you can go onto setting and then applications to stop or unistall the apps and games and whatever to save some of the battery life you can change the phone sleep mode to different times i got mine on every 1 minute so it sleeps when it hasnt been touched for a minute and if most of the time it like this
