@markxxx21 Laurel & Hardy danced with each in a movie called WAY OUT WEST (1937), one of their best. Many movie critics and the L&H fans often suspected that were Laurel & Hardy were homosexuals but they weren't. Though each of them were married about five times. But they weren't gay. And if they were, who cares.
I love this song and I remember Ann Margrock! I love that name! This show's writers were so clever to include a sly wink and a little humor for the adults.
@jasonvoorhees285 The ann margrock song is on a box cd set of ann margret... with the littlest lamb she sings on the same show as well.. very expensive.. inb the hundreds
@jasonvoorhees285 A user posted a remake of the song very good quality. I had also been looking for awhile and found it. Type Ann-Margret I Ain't gonna Be Your Fool No more in the youtube search engine.
WHY ISN'T THERE A CD ON THE SONGS FROM THIS EPISODE AND OTHER H-B FAVES???? Nobody, AND I DO MEAN NOBODY, FOR THE RECORD, can belt it out like Ann-Margaret (or Ann-Margrock as she's known in modern stone age jargon here, LOL). Thanks a bunch for posting. =-)
@NeluThat70sKid There is a CD of MOST , not all , of the great songs from The Flintstones. It does'nt have all the celebrity recordings , most likely because of licensing hassles. It does have James Darren , The Beau Brummel(stone)s , etc. I think Rhino put it out , about 20 years ago. That does'nt mean it's easy to find , but that it does exist.
@pfordsq Funny you should mention that, 'cause it just so happens that that CD (which was released by Rhino Records) is already in my collection. It doesn't do a half-bad job (quite good, actually) with re-releasing the original ditties from the show's initial six-year run, yet I do think it would have been WAY cooler if it also included the themes from all the subsequent spin-offs (like 1971's Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm Show, which is already on another CD). But anyways, thanks for the heads-up :)
@pfordsq No Ann-Margret on that CD though, yet, it would also be nice if she would at least offer her input on that so there wouldn't any legal red tape involved :(
Good Night Pebbles ... what GOOD Memories ... Silvia almost 47 yrs old (in 14 days) from Montreal, Canada. BTW, this song and all songs from the Flintsones are the bestest memories.
@Justheretoseefornow You and I are the same age. I used to watch the Flinstones every weekday at 12 noon when i came home from school for lunch. Great memories!
@FunWithStuttering Me too ... I had just enough time to bring my lunch to the living room (no tv in the kitchen ...lol) eat lunch and watch The Flintsones and then bang walk back to school! You are from Montreal?
Yeah, I HATE IT, when the Flintstones get disproportional to each other. If you watch Pebbles especially, goes through this. Sometimes Pebble's head gets larger than Fred's when he's holding her.
Ann was always the classiest lady as well as being talented and gorgeous. How sad that we've gone from someone like her to untalented sluts who don't know how to entertain like Britney and Katy Perry.
Probably the best musical moment on "The Flintstones"; yes, even better than "Let The Sun Shine In". Ann-Margret did this about the same time that she was doing "Viva Las Vegas" with Elvis Presley. Some of that experience pours out in this song. And I mean, pours!
Even though this song goes through me along with the video...I find something strangely hypnotic about it & I cant help but keep on going back to it. Like a serial killer returning to the scene of crime
I believe there was a Robert Mitchum character too which I truly dig!! Never figured out his name though. He had a weird, funny walk & his hat was always covering his eyes. I'm sure someone out there knows his stone-age name.
I knew her as Ann Margrock way before i new who Ann Margret was when i was a young Teenager i saw by by birdy on TV that's when i knew her name was Ann Margret.
