  • just like i remembered.

  • Love the dancing!

  • I continue to wonder how prehistoric, stone-age people had television.

  • Such a memorable episode as they all were \m/

  • Pure Classic!

  • Ann Margaret is one of the most beautiful, gorgeous, and sexiest women alive, even at age 70.

  • It's nice that Fred and Barney are comfortable enough with their sexuality that they can, as two straight men, dance together.

  • @markxxx21 Laurel & Hardy danced with each in a movie called WAY OUT WEST (1937), one of their best. Many movie critics and the L&H fans often suspected that were Laurel & Hardy were homosexuals but they weren't. Though each of them were married about five times. But they weren't gay. And if they were, who cares.

  • I used to sing the lullabye she sang to pebbles on the show to MY daughter when she was a baby

  • Nice! How sweet!

  • I love this song and I remember Ann Margrock! I love that name! This show's writers were so clever to include a sly wink and a little humor for the adults.

  • always loved this song from the Flintstones. Thanks for posting. Carrie Underwood should do a rousing version of this. It would be great!!!

  • Or Loretta Lynn or Dolly Parton....divas of country music, I remember them in their prime. Now feel dated! LOL!

  • was this song by ann margret on the flinstones ever release ive been looking for it

    its hard to find

  • @jasonvoorhees285 not that I know of. If some smart person got the rights and released it as a single they could make a fortune.

  • @jasonvoorhees285 The ann margrock song is on a box cd set of ann margret... with the littlest lamb she sings on the same show as well.. very expensive.. inb the hundreds

  • @jasonvoorhees285 It's on Bear Family records' 6 CD Ann-Margret box set.

  • @jasonvoorhees285 A user posted a remake of the song very good quality. I had also been looking for awhile and found it. Type Ann-Margret I Ain't gonna Be Your Fool No more in the youtube search engine.

  • was this song by ann margret on the flinstones ever release ive been looking for it

  • I would like to have sex with Ann Margrock

  • @MrRichardSabsay Gives you an erocktion, huh?

  • lolz at 00:17 when they're all tapping their feet to the music.

  • WHY ISN'T THERE A CD ON THE SONGS FROM THIS EPISODE AND OTHER H-B FAVES???? Nobody, AND I DO MEAN NOBODY, FOR THE RECORD, can belt it out like Ann-Margaret (or Ann-Margrock as she's known in modern stone age jargon here, LOL). Thanks a bunch for posting. =-)

  • @NeluThat70sKid There is a CD of MOST , not all , of the great songs from The Flintstones. It does'nt have all the celebrity recordings , most likely because of licensing hassles. It does have James Darren , The Beau Brummel(stone)s , etc. I think Rhino put it out , about 20 years ago. That does'nt mean it's easy to find , but that it does exist.

  • @pfordsq Funny you should mention that, 'cause it just so happens that that CD (which was released by Rhino Records) is already in my collection. It doesn't do a half-bad job (quite good, actually) with re-releasing the original ditties from the show's initial six-year run, yet I do think it would have been WAY cooler if it also included the themes from all the subsequent spin-offs (like 1971's Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm Show, which is already on another CD). But anyways, thanks for the heads-up :)

  • @pfordsq No Ann-Margret on that CD though, yet, it would also be nice if she would at least offer her input on that so there wouldn't any legal red tape involved :(

  • OMG I used to LOVE this episode! I thought she was called Ann MargaretStone!

I love the words to this song!...You're gonna find out, just what you done wrong....you're gonna wake up in the morning baby, I'll be gone!

  • Ann Margrock looks like Pebbles.....20 years later.

  • @visor109 You're so right.

  • Good Night Pebbles ... what GOOD Memories ... Silvia almost 47 yrs old (in 14 days) from Montreal, Canada. BTW, this song and all songs from the Flintsones are the bestest memories.

  • @Justheretoseefornow You and I are the same age. I used to watch the Flinstones every weekday at 12 noon when i came home from school for lunch. Great memories!

  • @FunWithStuttering Me too ... I had just enough time to bring my lunch to the living room (no tv in the kitchen ...lol) eat lunch and watch The Flintsones and then bang walk back to school! You are from Montreal?

  • @Justheretoseefornow No, I grew up in Hamilton, Ontario and still live in Ontario.

  • Awesome when Mel Blanc sings with Ann Margret!

  • Scary looking the size of Fred and Barney's heads next to Ann at the end.

  • @apollozero

Yeah, I HATE IT, when the Flintstones get disproportional to each other. If you watch Pebbles especially, goes through this. Sometimes Pebble's head gets larger than Fred's when he's holding her.

  • This song was the shit. Don't deny it.

  • Ann was always the classiest lady as well as being talented and gorgeous. How sad that we've gone from someone like her to untalented sluts who don't know how to entertain like Britney and Katy Perry.

  • I have tha orginal vhs w/ this episode on it! :)

  • I've had that stuck in my head all week.

  • I happened to meet her once. She was so incredibly nice. Was a big USO performer in the day, too. A great American lady.

  • LOL @ Barney and Fred singing completely out of tune.

  • PUUUUSSSSSSSSYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!

  • Is this actully ann singing?

  • @jwmellott Yup. =)

  • @jwmellott

    Duh! of course it is.

  • Probably the best musical moment on "The Flintstones"; yes, even better than "Let The Sun Shine In". Ann-Margret did this about the same time that she was doing "Viva Las Vegas" with Elvis Presley. Some of that experience pours out in this song. And I mean, pours!

  • the drummer looked really cool

  • one of my favorite tv moments ever!

  • belt it out ann-margrock

  • considering all the celebrities Fred and Barney ran into ...I'm guessing they must have lived in prehistoric Hollywood....

    oops my bad... Hollyrock

  • what is the name of the song?

  • Plenty of low angle shots, not too obvious, for rock-fur and early morning rock-dew.

  • there probably x rated flintstones out there someplace.

  • Even as a cartoon, she's sexy!

  • Even though this song goes through me along with the video...I find something strangely hypnotic about it & I cant help but keep on going back to it. Like a serial killer returning to the scene of crime

  • One of my favorite episodes.

  • I love this!!

  • All these years later, I still know all the words. I used to lip-sync to this all the time! XD Still love it and still love Ann-Margret. <3

  • SLIGHTLY ANNOYING, MARKS ALL THAT WAS WRONG WITH THE FLINTSTONES IN LATER EPISODES. TO MUCH OF PEBBLES, MAN BASHING & UNWANTED GUEST STARS

  • @martinwilliamrandall I disagree. These were some of my favorite moments!

  • @saskabush2006 That is your right, sir our madam

  • That is the prettiest cartoon character ever next to Cinderella...ha...

  • @atfatw Ann-Margret a transsexual?? NO WAY is that true!

  • @atfatw You know what? I could definately see that, now that you mentioned it.

  • @atfatw If she is id still sling her over a sofa cushion & do her up the pooper, Just like Elvis did

  • @atfatw You're kidding, right? Absolutely not!

  • @atfatw The lesson to derrive from this is - DO NOT believe everything you read on the internet.

  • @atfatw OMG ... how can yousay that? Didn't you see how beautiful and sexy this woman was with Elvis?

  • I luv this ooooh memories!

  • jJimmy Darrock!

I remember this episode when it first originally aired

  • Best episode I think and I still know the words to this song what 20 plus years later! Sheesh!

  • I remember watching this... I was 5 years old..

  • @beyoncetyratina lol me 2 sister

  • @imADRInk Oh forrealz?? LOL

Don't you just enjoy this song? I gave you all the love I had, but still you try to treat me bad!

  • Mickey Mouse was already doing this sort of things way before.

  • i used to watch this on vhs all the time when i was little

  • @mkmih01 Me too!!!! I"m sad I can't find it now.

  • I know :( me too. But i can watch it here on youtube so its ok.

  • if they used animals for everything.how did they get electricity for the TV?

  • The animals used to run on track pads and act as generators . . . just not in this scene.

  • Electric eels?

  • No one finds it disturbing that they had to cut finger holes into the baby elephant's nose to play it? HOW SICK!!! lol

  • POP ART

  • I dig the big bird guitar, AND the baby elephant's- nose horn, where can we buy these great items?

  • Shouldn't they be using a B&W TV?

  • Where can I get one of those giant bird guitars like that guy in the band has??

  • what a voice! try to top that miley cyrus

  • @Remington61189 LOL I agree!

  • I still love this cartoon.

  • When they're next to her Fred's head looks enourmous. lol

  • classic

  • I believe there was a Robert Mitchum character too which I truly dig!! Never figured out his name though. He had a weird, funny walk & his hat was always covering his eyes. I'm sure someone out there knows his stone-age name.

  • Barney and Fred dancing at the end makes them look gay!!! Not that it's bad -- in fact it looks hilarious!

  • Even a cartoon version of Ann Margret is hot!

  • I've loved Ann-Margret ever since I saw this when I was very young! I used to make my mom rent this videotape from the rental place repeatedly...I bet that she probably ended up paying about 4 or 5 times what the tape was worth! Haha! I love this song too, it's so catchy!

  • How about Stony Curtis.

  • because of this. over the years. everytime i see ann margret on tv. i can only refer to her as ann margrock. and even to this day this song is really catchy. memorys

  • yeah me too. i love ann margret(her performance in Viva Las Vegas still leaves me speechless...she is soo over the top, that it's truly delicious to watch) but I too, still refer her as Ann Margorck and of course, Cary Granite, any more names ring any bells?

  • Stoney Curtis!

  • that's right, forgot all about that one.

  • @FunWithStuttering

  • aww man good memories

  • Man, Barney is really tone deaf

  • Holy Crap! Barney IS tone-deaf as shit!

  • Does anyone know the name of the song?

  • Tip-toe through the Sneezewort.

  • i remember this as a kid.. i loved the flinstones... boy some legendary people went cartoon and it was always great

  • Ah the memories! I saw this in 1970 but I think this came out in 1964?...Good night Pebblie - POO!!!

  • Is there a consensus on the title of this great song? "I Ain't Gunna' Be Your Fool" seems like the best choice, but any others?

  • Barney gettin' jiggy wit it!

  • I love you but I ain't going to be your fool......it should have been a #1 hit back then.....awsome song...better than most songs of today......love the Flintsones

  • someone finally uploaded this on you tube the whole thing!!!!

  • This song is better than most pop tunes of today!

  • I LOVE THIS! I remember doing that dance at the end and singing this song when I was little. My mom used to always ask "What are you singing"? Thanks for posting and bringing back good memories.

  • My favorite episode.

  • Check out Fred and Barney's spats

  • I like the episode where Fred and barney are left to babysit Pebbles. They sneak off to the wrestling match and take Pebbles.

They pay so much attention to the wrestling match and forget to watch Pebbles until she makes her way into the ring.

  • Fred and Barney must have had sore feet all the time.

  • Loved this One!!!

  • Aaah memories! Long live YouTube!!

  • Thanks for posting; love it...

  • what happened to all the ppl that were sitting on and around the couch with Wilma and Betty???

  • I was wondering the same thing, but perhaps that was a different episode involving watching something on TV??

  • @FunWithStuttering ....now thats so dame funny....where did they go

  • OMG! I remember this! I used to watch this show and sing this song all the time when I was little....LOVE this song still XD

  • I remember this one---I think this is one of the finer "Flintstone" moments!!!

  • This song has Megan Joy Cockrey from American Idol written all over it. Almost the same dance gestures. Did Megan "steal" this fine moves???

  • Sorry Cheezy - Megan tries but doesn't come close. haha.

  • but it seems you don't stand alone - strength in numbers huh? I'm just not a Megan fan - oh well - outvoted here! haha.

  • I thought this way back as well.

The little lamb song is on you tube.

type in littlest lamb anne margret it is linked

  • I sure ann- Margret is not worried about megan use her dance at all

  • Had the exact same thought about Megan from her first audition.

  • She reminds me of Megan from American Idol.

  • My wife said the same thing!

  • Does anybody know where to hear the lullaby that she sings to Pebbles? The one about the Littlest Lamb? My kids don't believe that I didn't make it up. Yah, like I'm THAT talented!

  • Ok, i joined you tube just to comment on this. While watching americn idol and everyone was wondering where the contestant Megan got her dance moves from...Somewhere in the far reaches of my memory I recalled Ann Margrocks dance......it's like a total Ann Margrock ripoff....I think if she doesn't sue she has rocks in her head.....

  • I thought I was the only one who thought that. I checked this out looking for this video...Damn if she didnt copy it.

  • I miss this show so much!!!!!!

  • An amazing clip with a great song. Anyone know if this is available for purchase anywhere? And, oh, yeah, Ann-Margrock's dancing is far out. I love it.

  • It's on some massive box set that Bear Family Records put out a few years back. I don't know if it's available on any individual greatest hits package, sadly.

  • The Canadian grrrl band Fifth Column did a great version of this song on Dark Beloved Cloud Records (on a split 7" with a band called Trailer Queen doing a less spiffy take of THESE BOOTS on the B-side).

  • ya it was, i now know the whole song. yay

  • when I saw her with Elvis in Viva Las Vegas and in Bye Bye Birdie I found out I wasn't gay

  • BRILLIANT !!!

  • Years ago Ann was on Rosie O's talk show. They did the lead in with this clip, when it started people clapped, when it got the chorus people CHEERED like crazy. Ann was so touched by that.

  • OH! I remember this! I used to sing this song all the time!

  • They have her dancing up a storm...LOL! Ann-Margret even makes cartoons worth watching!

  • Yeah, them Flintstones artists sure knew how to draw fit women!

  • @RichXbox360 YEAP...and I WANT A REAL ONE!!!!!!!!

  • Was this song written especially for the Flintstones???

  • great episode and cute song

  • HELLLP MEEEE! I've had this stinking song in my head ever since this episode aired on Cartoon Network last week! RRRGH! I'm LOSING SLEEP OVER THIS!! Oh well- could be worse. Love that dance

  • same here!!!

  • I wish they put this song on that Flintstones CD that came out like back in the 90's.

  • I was VERY disapointed,. when I didnt find this song on that collection, along with the missing swedish wilma song.both some of the better songs from the series.

  • Wow! Ann Margret is even prettier when she's a cartoon!

  • I love the song! The ending they messed it up! Hahaaa.XD

  • One of the few flintstone where they had no laugh track durin song

  • One of my fave Flintstones episodes. Love it.

  • One of my favorite Flintstones episodes ever!! Thanks for posting:)
