Kuya, will I be able to convert the FLGR to standard one? I actually ordered one of these pistol (my second 1911). I think it's an awesome piece, however, why do some people find full length rods a nuisance?
I've been looking for weeks now. Nobody in the entire country seems to have the blued O1980XSE in stock. I put one on order, some people have been waiting for months. I don't know whats taking colt so damn long.
@musicguitar Thanks! In my area its about $950 really great shooter and colt's customer service is excellent, I did a lot of upgrades since then and now its being hard chromed by colt, I will make a vid when it comes back
Thanks for the reply. Did you have to change the grips to accomodate the S&A magwell? Also, how do you like the XSE Govt? I'm considering this gun for my first 1911.
@49thparallel1 if you want a better looking grip that will mold with the magwell then I suggest to change grips to a magwell cut it will give it a much more finish job. You can look at my other vid with the kimber.
@49thparallel1 I had an ed brown maxiwell on that but I end up taking it out and put in my springfield champion, Now I have an smith and alexander magwell and I have it blended with the frame, the finish match up pretty good.
Got mine in 2003! I see they changed the sights on them a year or two later! Nice gun my friend what else can I say! Video response totally approved! =)

Yes your are correct. It's enhanced focussing on "safety" as what I read on some other forums.
