  • My fav warder video forever

  • @flyingchimp99 thanks man, one of my favorites too

  • I have been flying a super cub for a while now and i'm pretty good at this level. I want to step up to the next level and purchase this extra 300. Just wondering how the planes flies and if you think this would be a good plane to purchase? Thanks!

  • @jchamine the 300 is really an intermediate plane. I'd suggest a Parkzone Trojan to get some aileron practice, and something other than a high wing trainer. A lot of guys have found this to be the perfect next plane after a supercub. You could probably fly it no problem, if the throws were setup right, and trimmed right for take-off, and had some good luck, but it's a very agile plane. Landings hardest thing to get good at with this too, unless you've flown other planes before.

  • very nice vid :) i was flying mine today , love it ! great flying plane, the only thing i recommend, is take the wheel pants of and put bigger wheels on it. then the thing will land and take off in deep grass !! also for the ding dongs saying the wings are upside down? LEARN HOW TO FLY YA STUPID MOTHER%$#%^%!!!!

  • @fastestcararound ya guys have had luck with larger tires on grass. Make sure guys push the battery all the way forward, so that the strap barely covers the end of the battery. This will ensure a good CG

  • @warderseeker exactly :) my battery is all the way forward .actually my strap is on the wires, not even touching the battery, because the wing tube holds it in anyway . HAPPY FLYING PEOPLE !!

  • That's the perfect song for this.... Good choice

  • @pancho1576 thanks a lot, cool tune by another canadian too. he even mentions vancouver in the song

  • Btw I fly 3D helis myself.

  • @thedoorsbiggestfan thanks a lot for watching. Ya the 12X6 I like a lot better It seems to be a good all around prop for lots of planes. That motor would help out with doing more 3D with this too, quick response

  • I changed my prop to a 12x6 and also swapped the esc to an Align blx35e.The throttle response now is like a F1 race car. With the extra 5amp on the esc I can safely use a 4s lipo.

  • @thedoorsbiggestfan

The larger ESC is noted in your post, but how will you fit a 4s lipo in there? it is tight as it is for the 2200 3s.

  • @zsebi696 Yes I have the rce-bl35x Align esc.The smaller capacity 4s such as 1600mah 25c lipos are pretty close in dimensions as the 2200mah 3s.check out hobbyking or nitro planes.

  • Awesome video. Is that the stock prop? Thanks

  • @rcfumes thanks a lot, not stock prop, I put a 12X6 apc on it, but the stock one does work pretty well, just a faster prop I think. The 300 is pretty easy to fly, but just need to know what it's stall speed and curve is, how long it will take to slow down as you're landing.

  • Great video, I was suprised at how small the feild is your flying at. You sure make the PZ 300 look easy to fly.

  • By the way,I LOVE the music....I come back on here just to listen to the music and turn it up loud.Who is this???It's not Bobby Darin is it???Sounds like Michael Buble...right or wrong???Music like this makes you proud to be an American.

    Thanks again-Wardseeker

  • @truckermax1 right on, I've had a lot of people say they play my videos just for the music in the background LOL It is Buble, and he's actually canadian, but that's ok, you can still like it Hahaa

Even though I have youtube giving me shit about using copyrighted music, I have it on over 500 vids and will always put good stuff on them.

    Thanks for watching,

    ~Ronin

  • I fly 3D heli's and have just recently started flying planes to change it up...I got this plane and I seem to fly it more than my Trex 600 nitro. It's a great plane,I don't have any problems with the wing configuration whatsoever!!!!

Lands perfectly, does Knife Edges no PROBLEM....

I practically kill the engine when it's landing and glides right on in...I grease it 96% of the times landing this nice plane with no wing problems like others have talked about.I don't get it... Thanks-Wardseeker

  • @truckermax1 thanks a lot, love the KE with this thing, so much fun, but has to be going a good clip to keep the nose up. I fly 3D helis too. I bet if you look you can see the little deformation of the wings, caused by the paint, just the top is a little flatter, but it makes no real difference for the flight LOL Have you tried it with a 12X6 apc prop? Ya landings are easy with it, it's about learning when a plane stalls, and a glidepath very unlike a supercub lol

  • Im thinking of getting the PnP Version, but i only have a 'non digital' transmitter, is this okay for this model, its 2.4ghz btw

  • @TheFlightLog it's 2.4 but non digital? The biggest thing you want with an aerobatic plane is exponential, to make control surfaces move more smoothly. as long as you have expo, this will be a flyable plane. Without expo, it will be very touchy, depending on how you setup the surfaces

  • Nice job man!

great to see someone put out a good flying video of this plane vs the crap I've read about it..

thanks for posting, now I'm buying one for sure!!

  • @brushless55 thanks a lot, ya don't believe the propaganda some of these guys are putting up about it, they just need to learn what a stall speed is, and stop flying supercubs LOL

  • love your video

  • @Riddlers99 thanks very much, new jet 3D thrust vectoring video just posted

  • Wonderful video! You're a good pilot! I've had one of these planes in the garage for a long time, and just got it back out to fly again.... but couldn't get it to harrier like you did in the video. I adjusted the control rods to provide much more throw, so we'll see tomorrow! Really enjoyed your flying, the video, and background music!

  • @RobinDChrisChurch thanks a lot, need a lot of elevator for the harriers, but it still rocks a bit during it, unless you are turnign just a little , with rudder. thanks for watching

  • Yes very nice video!! I bought one when they first came out, and flew it a few times and sold it!! It is a great flying plane for the price!! I am thinking about picking another one up! $149.00 for a PNP is a great price.

  • @josefmd awesome great price, and such a sweet flying plane. Make sure you tell people not to listen to the BS that all these guys on forums and youtube, try to spread. They fly great, and anyone who has problems, should look to their skills rather than the plane

  • HI! What camera did you use on this video?

  • @Rcflyyer1 hi sorry if I didn't answer this already, it's a Sony HDR-SR11. Great HD camcorder

  • Great flying buddy! And thumbs up to your cameraman! This video made me buy this plane. Now, if I only had your thumbs. Time to work on those rolling circles... ;-p

  • @TweakRacer thanks a lot, you bet, great cameraman on this one. I gotta practice more rolling circuits too

  • Hi,

Great flying. You know how to fly the Extra 300. Love it.

Miles away from my flying skill :(

One of the best Videos i saw fromt the PZ Extra !!!!

  • @TestpilotP51 Thanks a lot, lots of stick time on this one, but she's a great flyer. Don't listen to the morons on forums and youtube saying it flies crappy, they need more time flying stuff other than foamies LOL

  • @warderseeker

I haven´t listen to them. I Bought the plane last thursday. It is a blast and i love it :) It is much better to land than i was expecting ( forums). I have only a small road to land, but with this plane i am nearly hit it every time. Very exact flying with it.

Now i have to work on my flying skill to get the best out of it. For the price of it i think it is a higly recommend airplane.

Now i must watch more of your excelent Videos :)

  • @warderseeker I agree. I JUST got one yesterday, assembled, and flew 3 flights. Wings on normally, read the battery position bulletin, and away I went. Flew great for me.

Thanks for the vids.... nice flying - I'm working up to that, but for now just one trick at a time (landing ;-)).

One question... for the harriers, what's the setup? prop/CG/etc. thx.

  • Okay im jealous!!!! Great flying. I agree with you though man. I almost didnt buy the plane because of all the negative crap on the internet about this plane. I bought it, put it together as per instructions, and find it fantastic, even though i can fly anywhere near this good. I love flying this model. But now, i gotta go practice more so i can fly like this!!!!

  • @Walkonthinice thanks a lot, glad you didn't listen to the hype. Make sure the battery strap barely covers the end of the lipo, and your CG will be great, and then just need some stick time, and at least 35% expo on all surfaces, to make it look very smooth.. Thanks for watching, check out some of the latest stuff, Habu onboard cam with rollovers, over other Habu, Gauii quadcopter footage of two scale helis flying around, and more to come

  • GOOD PILOT! well done, fantastic video and great plane! air...wings. human invention....wow...cant get better!

  • Great flying plane!!! Please, tell me your setup if you don't mind. Is everything stock, CG, prop, etc? Which battery are you using... 25C, etc? Sorry for all the questions.. this is just EXACTLY how I'm trying to fly!! Also, the finesse in which you fly, how do you do it??! Mine are always a little jerky b/c i get excited haha. Thanks! Enjoyed!

  • Great video!!!

    Great Airplane!!

    Great editing and music choice!

    Thks

  • @RCAddictNL thanks a lot for watching, and the comment. Please check out the latest video, Habus doing rollover passes over each other, with onboard video

  • throughly enjoyed this video

  • @herculesstrong thanks very much, glad you enjoyed it, one of my favorites

  • Wanderseeker, can't decide what's best; the flying, the video, or the music... it's all tied for first place! Beautiful!!

  • @stevecraignet thanks very much. Please check out the newest video. Habu EDF's rolling over each other canopy to canopy with onboard cam and very close passes

  • @wardseeker i currently have the parkzone F4F Wildcat ... i fly it pretty well and have good control.. is the extra worth it in your opinion?

  • @watermelonboy100 the wildcat is a nice plane, but very stable and even has some camber to the wings to make it a lot like a low wing trainer. The 300 is a great plane and worth the price, but I'd almost go straight to the e-flite Yak if you want to practice 3D. You'll need the ability to charge a 4cell though, and more of them, if you want multiple flights. If you don't want 3D, sure get an extra for aerobatic stuff or maybe a pulse25E They're a great plane too

  • Im looking at buying either this or the Typhoon 3d.... I know that the Typhoon isnt so fast... im worried that i wont be able to control the extra 300.. please respond how fast yours goes.

  • @watermelonboy100 it's an aerobatic plane. It's not supposed to go really fast, but it's better than the typhoon. If you want a 3D type plane, get a foamy profile from DW Foamies or 3D Hobby Shop. if you want a full out 3D plane, you can also get the E-flite CarbonZ yak, but it's pretty fast too. All depends what you've flown before

  • Mac the Knife!

  • @RedDevilSquadron awesome version of the song, had to use it for all the KE LOL Thanks for watching

  • Best video I have seen in a long while! Love the knife edge flying - fantastic!

  • @dolbydarma thanks very much, very cool plane, and flies very well. Thanks for watching

  • Agree !!!!

After I put in enough expo and decreased the throws and battery forward,,,,it flys great,,,,lands fine and I love it,,,,,,my bad eyes love the color scheme,,,,,thanks so much for sharing your video,,,the music was cool!!!!

  • @internaman thanks a lot, glad you liked the song and like the 300. Great plane. We're now doing Knife Edge formation with it, me and another guy

  • Hey Awsome flying i just got one three days ago been to windy to fly was wondering where exactly you have battery placement? like right in front of strap, all the way forward, or just the strap on the end also are you using a stock prop? i bought a 12X6 prop because ive been hearing people using this have you experimented with this? Nice Flying though i hope i will be able to knife edge like that!!!!!

  • @Lukesteele07 Thanks a lot, yes the plane can definitely do it, just start knife edging way up high and once you get more comfortable doing it, you can start circuits . I use a 12X6 APC or good wooden prop and put the 2100mah battery just far enough forward that the strap barely catches the end. Put a piece of velcro on the battery and plane to keep it from moving too.

  • I'm enjoying the su26xp micro and this would seem to have similar control, but with more power and stability (er, and size). Maybe this is next...or the Corsair, or the Hellcat or the Habu. Lol. Thanks for sharing - some really nice flying!

  • @rcflyer40plus1 Definitely go to a Corsair before this . Great 2nd plane , some speed and you're using bigger ailerons. Plus you can put a 15 in it and go nuts for power, with a 4cell. Thanks for watching

  • what is ur normal rates and dual rates setup pls tel i need this

  • @Chansaux they're basically what the manual says with some tweaking along the way. Make sure you have at least 35% expo too

  • Very nice flight m8 VERY NICE!@!!!!!!5 stars!!!!Precise!@!!!!!I mthinking of buying it in order to unlock my fingers to invert fingers of 8 for my helis. Was afraid that it wouldn t be very stable as afoam but as far as i can see in other vids too i believe it flies really good!!!!!

  • @stratosFZ1 thanks a lot. Yes this plane really is great, especially with the battery far enough forward. Most of the bad reviews on this thing are based on how tail heavy it seems. Put the battery forward LOL

Any plane is a good way to get some better heli stick fingers, and vice versa. I fly both and it makes a huge difference. Keep some power on the landings of this and it'll be a great flyer for ya

  • Thats where I have been putting it, just checking. I can definetly tell you have been flying along time by making that 300 do the things it was doing, Thanks for the tip.

  • @CHIPPERJ67 No problem. Been flying about 5 years now, Helis too,

  • @warderseeker I've been flying about 1 so in maybe 4 years I will be as good as you! HELL YEAZ! Life is good. 8-)

I was looking into getting one of these as I can't afford a carbon Z. Do you recommend it?

  • @flyboyfx I would absolutely recommend it. I was flyin mine yesterday, doing knife edge, harriers, flat spins. It's capable of all of that, but not a great 3D plane. Not seeing it hover very well, but that's about the only thing I don't like. Want extreme 3D like hovering and rolling harriers etc, need a real 3D like the Yak, but this is a great step up plane, and would say it's a great trainer for most 3D and aerobatics

  • @flyboyfx Great! I need something that I can practice more advanced aerobatics with and if I do splash it, it's easy to fix!

  • Very Nice Flying!!! I love my 300. Your landing gear looks like mine (full of glue) Where do you typically set your battery?

  • @CHIPPERJ67 think I had reglued it once at that point, but from pretty hard landings doing harriers. The battery should be far enough forward so that the strap barely catches the end of the battery. Put some velcro on it too, plane and battery, so it can't move.

  • Parkzone should use this vid for presentation an commercial! very nice flight!!! Greetings from Germany!!!

  • @MrDonnyDarko thanks dude, I have two of my videos on the Parkzone Youtube Pics page right now. One of my Habu and one of 4 of us doing inverted harriers with strykers in formation. go to parkzones website and look at youtube pics

  • Very nice flying and Video.

    Greetings from Kassel, Germany

  • @Mohnfeldi thanks for watching

  • Very nice Video.

    Greetings from Kassel, Germany

  • @Mohnfeldi thanks a lot, greetings from Vancouver Canada

  • NIce flying. I also love the music!!!

  • @rcplaneflyer100 thanks very much, loe the tune, and works good here too

  • VERY nice flying. Video is nicely put together also.

    Keep them flying ;-)

  • @cdnwizard thanks a lot, this one really worked out well with the tune and stunts. Great plane too Just posted a video of the Yak dragging the wing across the snow covered runway, that was a riot

  • Ok, i have a few questions..

How fast do you think this plane goes

Do you like this or the Carbon Z yak 54 better

Does it fly well in windy conditions

  • @brendanw122 I have a few answers...

about 50mph, but it depends on the prop, and if you want a fast plane, buy a Pogo

They are both good for their respective prices. Unlimited money , I would buy a Yak

Yes, flies very well in wind. compared to 3D planes of it size,

  • @warderseeker thanks for the reply

  • Just got rhis one today can't wait to go fly it dam snow

  • @jkachur777 you'll like her for sure. snow didn't stop us this weekend, check out the newest vid

  • hehe, you should try to get a 4s 2200 in that thing with the 12x6 apc. Literally 90+ verticals. get a video and give me a shout in it =- P you will love it

  • @Duggan00 LOL, snap rolls at 90 and the plane disitegrates haha thanks for watching

  • Just a perfect flight, didn´t know, that this plane can do all this.

    thanks for this video.

By for now, going to fly now to test all that...

    Jo from SkyandCameraFly

  • @SkyandCameraFly thanks a lot, this plane does fly great. Excellent aerobatic 3D hybrid. If you want a great total 3D plane, check out my video of the E-flite Yak Carbon Z. awesome plane

  • Love this vid. I've just bought one of these. Some fine flying there especially love the knife edges... hopefully I'll get there soon!!

  • @steveburns23 thanks a lot, this is a great plane to get there with

  • great vid! :D

could i fly it with a futaba ff-6?

    thx

  • @mayrhofer96 sure, no reason you couldn't if that's a 6 channel radio. You will want to have exponential though, and the ability to adjust travel. I dont know the radio, so not sure about those, but it'll fly on any 4channel radio

  • @warderseeker ok thanks!

  • AWESOME close quarter flying

  • @letsjingle thanks a lot, dont' listen to the hype about the wings out there, these fly fine, these guys just need some respect for the plane haha

  • @rich202100 no, 3 channel planes cannot hover. This can because it has rudder and ailerons

  • Ok I'll look into that plane

  • Can it hover? Straight up and down?

  • @bakonlicious LOL, straight up and down !! not a 3D plane, it's possible , but if you want to hover, get a E-flite Yak instead

  • I also just recently got an Extra 300 despite all the bitching. The thing flies beautiful. So far does everything i wanted it to. I only had one batter charged at the time so it was about a 6 minute flight. Next flight im going to start throwing in some hovering and see if it'll do a rolling harrier.

  • @demise002 Should be good for the rolling harriers if you can do em... I'm just getting into slow rolls right now, but harriers are a riot. We don't roll them, but check out us doing inverted harriers, in high alpha with our strykers

  • @warderseeker I havent tried yet, but still experimenting with the control surfaces. Mind if i ask where you put your battery at in this plane? So far i haven't moved it from the "full forward" position and i think that might be giving me a little trouble keeping the nose up.

  • @demise002 yes, full forward is a little too much. I put the battery so the strap is just over the end of the battery. You can move it back 1/2inch from there, to make it a bit more agile for better 3D, but it will be more able to stall as well. Not tail heavy but close to the real CG You can also try a 1800pack if you have one, all the way forward. I also put a piece of velcro, just small, on the batts and plane to stop any chance of shifting in flight

  • @warderseeker Ok, i thought so. I too, added velcro to the battery. Thank you very much. I'll give her a try soon and going to play around with some different prop sizes. Btw very nice flying, i enjoy your videos.

  • @demise002 Thanks a lot, I'm like the APC 12X6 for it. There are also a cool wooden prop called Vess I think, going to try out on my e-flite Yak as well. Get a Yak too, they fly even better. Extreme unlimited 3D with them, including hovering, and tons of power

  • i love some of these people on you tube, saying you need to flip the wing over?? lol hey you ding dongs, the wings are symmetrical !! that is like saying, you need to flip this ball over because it is upside down. all you have to do is google symmetrical airfoils, and it's all right there for you :) so, for those of you that insist that the wing must be flipped . STOP IT !! LOL read a book and learn something for Christ sakes !

  • @fastestcararound their argument is that it's supposed to be symetrical, but you can see, and even on mine, a little deformation at the very tip of the wing. Parkzone put out a bulletin, saying they tested different combos, wings, bodies, etc and found NO real difference or problems with any of them.

  • I actually bought a parkzone 300 because of this video, and i can fly it the exact same as you =- P, I am recently experimenting for all the extra 300 lovers, i have changed the motor mount on the pz 300 for full straight forward thrust, using a 12x8.75 pz 3d prop it will stand in a hover until the battery dies, and i believe changing the motor thrust and straightening it out did it. its simplicity , and it changes all aspects of the pz 300. o yeah i just used spacers under the mount to level it

  • @Duggan00 that's cool. So did the mod take out a lot of the torque roll while hovering? Love to see some video of you flying it for sure, post it as a response here

You didn't flip the wings did you?? LOL

  • @warderseeker Na, lol no wing flipping (Thats retarded IMO) but i will try to get a video up i have not had alot of no wind time with her yet, so i can not give you a positive response on the nasty fall outs it liked to do in full out over position, but i do have one more curious question for ya, in a full hover with the pz 300 does you're plane like to ALWAYS fall out to the right? Its kind of a scientific need =- P and btw what state are you in also i dont feel like reading down =- P

  • @Duggan00 haha..I"m in Canada eh? LOL Like in Vancouver British Columbia Not sure if the 300 falls out to the right, most times it torques around and thats' when it falls out, probably pilot error X-)

  • maybe after a little practice... or a lot.. we can do some formation 3d flying!!! love this vid Ronin!

  • awesome flying!! how can i pull off that 'knifes edge' maneuver?

  • @moron32 Just practice knife edges up high, and when you can keep it stable no problem, start turning a bit. To turn you give it UP elevator, and lower the throttle just a touch, so it doesn't go up a lot, then when back in the straight away, add the throttle back, and let off the elevator. Thanks for watching

  • @warderseeker I was actually asking how to do the knife edge in general..it looks like you turn the plane sideways w/ aileron, and then use the rudder as the elevator??

  • @moron32 ya basically. You roll it sideways, add all your rudder, a lot is required, and then keep it straight with your elevator and ailerons. To adjust your height, you add or remove power. You can vary the rudder but makes it harder

  • thank you thank you and thank you. I am 13 and it took me one month to get landins down on this plane, and that's only because i was not used to a plane coming in so fast. all of you babies complaining about this plane being hard to land, it's not because of the wing, you're just not a good pilot.

  • Nice flying man. Where is this place?

  • @tirsten1 thanks a lot, this park is called upper coquitlam river park. It's up Pipeline Road, which is by Coquitlam Center. Once you get on Pipeline, you just keep going till you pass the two rock quarry, then you'll see the chain link fence on the right and parking. If you want to bring your 300, we can get it all setup and let you do the maiden there. Park is decent size but there are trees all around, you can see from the vid

  • Awesome as always Ronin. Yeah, mine also has the so called "inverted wings" but it flies great so why should I care?

  • @BigMeanyVids wings are fine, whiners just can't keep their mouths shut after crashing or hard landings, blame the plane,.... LOL thats it LMAO

    Thanks for watching

  • What are your control thow settings (expo, dual rates, etc.) as well as control horn positions? Aboth what position is the battery in when you fly yours?

  • @mlordahl1 Would have to look at my radio to be sure, but throws should be less than 35degrees if you are not doing 3D. Expo is always at least 35% and I'm probably in the 2nd furthest out holes on the surface horns. Battery is so far forward the strap barely holds the end. Put a small piece of velcro on the battery and plane to make sure it doesn't move in flight

  • Ronin

Looking good Man sweet flying keep the vids coming

  • @TinkerManRC thanks dude, amazing all the bashing of this thing, when there's so much it will do and better than a lot of crap out there.

  • I couldn't agree with you more. As for me the way mine is now I'd have to say I'm happy with it. You have a great flying area with the cement and tree's. I on the other hand fly in a 50 x 25 ft small park and it's just too fast or at my field where the whole thing is bumpy, gopher holed, bumpy mess.

Good flyin' nice to see somebody else who flies slow and close rather than 500 ft in the air at 100k.

    Doodboy1

  • Nice flyin' there bro. 300 is very cool for your type of flying. I had hoped that the 3-D stuff would of come more natural to this craft like the larger versions. You're right, for a 250.00 plane it fly's great for what it is.

    Later...

    Doodboy1

  • @DOOODBOY1 thanks for watching. Yes I was hoping it would be better for 3D, but wasn't put out as a 3D plane. More of an aerobatic hybrid. If parkzone would have put the CG right in the manual to start with, none of this wing flipping hogwash would have started. Really the wing mod is great, winglets are like putting side force generators on say your Tribute or some of the other stuff out there.

  • Great flying.

  • @777muzzy thanks dude, things fly great

  • another great vid!

  • @shaneeeeak thanks for watching

  • People always want change. They always think outside of the box. Not me I like it in the box, that way it never gets damaged.

  • @jauchiu change is good, progress, but means learning to fly different planes. the more of them you fly, the better well rounded flyer you are.

  • Wow. That was supurb!!

  • @lkgboater71 thanks a lot, dude. Plane flies really well, stock out of the box. All I have done is the prop change

  • nice flying

  • @Jackismycopilot thanks for watching

  • Hi Ronin,

I bought a 11x4 prop for mine. try to stop that unstoppable torque roll you get with the stock one.

    Brilliant flying.

I should have a video of mine up soon (Cant go out just now 'coz strong winds)

    All the Best,

    ~David

PS Check out my Footage from RAF Leuchars Airshow i you have a spare few mins!

  • @WEESTRAWZ thanks David. Yes the 11X4 would help the torque roll for sure. Really a aerobatic plane rather than 3D but I get it into a hover for a bit, if you pulse the throttle it will help keep it from rolling too

  • very nice flying!! and amazing rolls :)

  • @Berijs thanks man

  • Wow, great flying, great vid, and looks like a very nice plane. Looking at one at the LHS here, was a bit hesitant reading all that stuff on the forums about the wings, then saw Brandon (IEATSRT) vid and now yours, and I think I am gonna give this one a try.

Take care out in lotus land, I think we are getting SNOW this weekend in Edmonchuk!

    Keep flying

  • @justlostagain thanks a lot, it is a good flyer, just doesn't float like most foamies . Didnt' you guys just get rid of the last of your snow? LOL jk but it wasn't long ago was it

  • Great vid Ronin and well said. Like you I refuse to flip my wings... flies fine the way it is. Man that is some of the best flying i've watched in a long time, definately the best vid i've seen of the pz extra. See your gear pulled out too, mine did on about the 100th landing....another reason for the complainers to complain but still id rather be out flying her then inside wishing I could get some new wings or money back that's for sure. Take er easy

  • @IEATSRT Thanks man, I've seen the post that parkzone did on the wing issue. It says that due to some paint shrinkage, the wing tips do look a big misformed, but after thorough testing of multiple wing and plane samples, they found no appreciable loss in flight characteristics. From the Horizon support page

They fly great, but they are a 300 buck plane, man the gear was in there pretty good on mine, had to scrape her bad pulling out of a dive too low to pull mine off.

You take er easy too bud

  • Very nice, almost bought a 12/6 prop for mine today.

  • @skiscola that will be a good prop for you. Thanks for watching

  • thats some awsome flying sir, your skills are impeccable...love watching the tricks this plane pulled off...watched it again and again...lol...Buble' rocks...lol...great vid Ronin.

  • @bckillick thanks a lot dude, she's a great aerobatic plane, not quite 3D but still great and the buble is fun for it too

  • That was weird, 45 seconds into the flight, I found myself snapping my fingers and tapping my toes..... LOL... Great Flying Ronin! Nice to see the this parkzone extra flying the way they intended it to be.

  • @RCRedBaron haha...it's a good tune, little slower than usual, but it builds LOL

Thanks man, they do fly really well and just like I said, like a big 3D plane should.

  • Do you do this for a-living, or just for fun? Either way WOW

  • @snm1117 I'd love to do it for a living, Parkzone, send me planes, I"ll review em, and fly the shit out of em LOL Just for fun man, would love to get into filming them for a side job, for an online mag or something

  • Great flying and filming as always, these vids inspire me to rty harder, lol. My st models mx2 is reapired again, eventually I'll get my knife edges as nice as yours! Not a bad tune too, excellent stuff, keep it up!

  • @chiosex thanks a lot, you bet, keep em flying and getting lots of stick time. All it takes

  • Really awesome flying Ronin! It is great to be able to trust a plane that low in knife edge when the rudder is pinned and you only control the altitude by your throttle! Love the inverted hammerheads, I like doing those as well cause they just look cool. Try doing some figure "M"s they are an old pattern move that is difficult to get straight but are very fun. Also try some inverted 45 degree knive edge passes too - that'll always attract a crowd.

    Cheers

    J

  • @PC9JEFF The inverted 45, you mean a sideslip inverted? cool. Not sure how you mean about the M's how do you mean, Straight up, then flip over and down at a 45, then up at a 45 and then Straight down again?

  • Wouldn't have pinned you for a buble fan.. Love that music...

And yeah.. i agree with you on the "hate" the 300 has gotten.. i love mine.. one of my favorite flying planes to date (For the price of course)

Gotta get out and fly a few more times with you guys before summer is over..

  • @xtreme9898 haha...ya I like a lot of different stuff. For sure come out any time. Most days you'll find us out there , even today spitting the whole afternoon

  • Awesome flying dude!

  • @moolikeacow2 thanks man, thing flies awesome
