  • Hey this an absolutely amazing song regardless of the subject.

  • Just mia.

  • This song is about Anorexia and Bulimia. I used to listen to this song every night. Now I cry when I hear it. Recovery is the hardest thing I ever went through. But it is worth it. Believe me.

  • Wow I totally get it, maybe its because I hav mia

  • The ad for this was "diet chef . com"

What the hell?! that's not what watchers are going to want to see...

  • @MsCRushe I got - "Restaurant vouchers In London" LOL

  • dont let it win, you are better than you think and stronger than you believe it doesnt matter whatever is going on around you or in your head, control it...if you can, find a way...no matter what you have to overcome it, dont let it be the death of you!

  • This song is about eating disorders...definitely not the guitar players..

  • "Skinny" is Richard Patrick's nickname. From what I have read, that was what they called him when he played guitar in Nine Inch Nails. The song seems to be his present self singing back to the kid he once was; being picked on and ostracized.

  • @briansreality anamia dude do some research

  • @amor0787 i did. sounds like you need to.

  • Lovely song...

  • I'm surprised you don't have Manic Street Preachers' "4st 7lb" on your channel.

  • i've listened to all of these songs so many times and unlike other songs they never get old thank you so much for putting these up it means a lot

  • It's not about the manip of men by women. It's about EDs! Come on, the uploader's username is anamiamusic - music about anorexia and bulimia. -.-

  • I was pretty sure this song was about heroin...a side effect being that heroin use makes you skinny...no? I may be wrong, but I am an expert on heroin...

  • @bopowers9 you should get that checked.

  • i think i listened to this song like 20 tyms in the past r. i really needa get over my "problem" i wanna be skinny bt.. i know im doing it thhe wrong way.

    help

  • @jeriprob stay strong... remember that youre beautiful dont buy into all that mtv E! bullshit fantasy world!! do it the right way if you feel you must, you will find the strength, never lose hope...

  • *hint*hint* ..It's called SKINNY... for gods sake you guys... its not rocket science. :b

  • One of the greatest bands!!!!!

  • I think this is about me. And how I'm always hiding. And how I seem to be changing and winning and losing and failing and hurting and cutting. But I am always fighting something. Always. To me this song IS about me. But thats just what I think. I think music is all about expression and interpretation. They expressed and now we get the wonderful jobs of interpreting how we see fit.

    Great song.... SKINNY!

  • @FrightfullyAdelia

How is hurting yourself fighting someone or something? Fights are won by defending yourself or going on the offense. Just drwning yourself in self-sorrow just won't do it. Sure, I may sound like a shithead right now, but I don't care. I just hate when people waste their potential in self-loathing, self-sorrow or any self-defeating attitude.

  • ....does anyone even know what this song is about?!?! its about e.d's..duh!! wooow!!!

  • Truly great song... but too bad and a little sloppy that the video is troubled by occasional cropping errors causing some words not to show up completely...

  • the lyric is " a knot in a bound shoelace" not "ball of shoelace"

  • Wow only two people actually understood what this song was about, did the other 15 of you not read the username? Ana&Mia are the "nicknames" for the e.d.'s Anorexia nervosa and bulimia nervosa. It's great that you guys like the song too, but really you should always check the description and username before you comment. JS. and if that didn't help you realize if you look at the uploads-there's a pretty clear "Trend"

  • this song is deffinatly about eating disorders... idk where you are all getting about a man getting screwed over by a girl. why do you think that the person who post this is called ANA&MIA MUSIC! ana is the term given to anorexia and mia is for bulimia. because ppl who suffer from ed's often feel as if their ed is an actual person, so it's easier to confront it by giving it a name.

  • The relaxing intro that makes you feel everything is ok, than the screaming part which makes you feel so angry and than you calm yourself again, That goes on for 3 or more times and that's how ana/mia is. One moment they're really comforting and the other moment they will make you cry

Want to know how it feels? Just listen to this song until you're so sick of no constant feelings, you want to turn it of, but you can't, that's the same with ana. You need help if you want to get rid it or them

  • I use to cry to this song

  • @healmeholy I do; it sucks.

  • i think its actually about a girl whos been good at hiding her ed for a long time by shutting herself off from people and lying then someones realization of what she is and confronting her.

  • I love how you're all wrong.

  • A "Skinny" is a term for a slim attractive woman, the ones most likely to be brats and mind fuck over men......

  • No, this song is REALLY about manipulation of men by women, its about to stand up against those types of and not believe they are innocent and dont give in to their mind games. If you been fucked over by a bitch before you should be able to interpret the words easy... "Dont ever let them see you bleed" (stay strong, dont show your emotions to a woman.... "And everytime i talk to you, It sounds like you're caught in a psychological flu"...... trying to understand women sometimes is impossible..

  • @musclesdude

Wow. That is exactly what this song is about. It's a vicious circle we all live in. Good guys end up with bad women, women who are bad may have turned bad by another male becuase well vise versa and so and so. I mean it's really tough becuase the chances for an honest male and an honest female meeting together have dropped significantly, although when they find each other they are probably ls so screwed up from past bad experiences that they are not recognizable, then (cont)

  • @musclesdude

they are passed off as crazy and then the guy or girl doesn't want them becuase they don't want to go through heart ache again. I mean yes it's really tough, but I've learned if your try and deal through them and reassure that you still love them they eventually calm down and realize they were being stupid but usually the relationship most of the time never get to that point because it's just too much =◄ but in conclusion yes it's a definitely mind game and a psychological flu.

  • No, this song is about growing up small and skinny through all the bullying and getting picked on......hence the name "skinny". Awesome song just the same.

  • I love this song. It sounds like they are singing about fame and the painful part of it. But who knows what it is about :)

  • bonne musique!!!

  • Wow O.O

  • Love it...
