I Can't see how anyone can say he's overrated. He's the best horse to come along in years. For sure no horse has come close to his capabilities since. And thats a shame. He was a throwback, Tough and durable. Don't see that much anymore. And It's sad but I believe most of the top 3 year olds right now will fall by the wayside.I just don't see a stand out.

Who knew that Calvin Borel would go on from the KY Derby to win 2 more times in the next 3 years and the preakness!

Curlin was great, can`t wait till his foals (especially the Rachel Alexandra/Curlin one that may come into existance, god willing) hit the track!

love your vids...love this race..and i think this was best triple crown i have seen in a long time(with no triple crown winner)..hard to argue how good the 3 races were won by threee diff horses..that said C urlin is the most overrated horse i have seen in years a very good horse but not a top 50 horse.....

@bigfred3217 I agree with your opinions, but maybe not the last one. I don't know if Curlin belongs in the top 50 either, but I don't know if he doesn't either. Tough call, but, respectfully, I'd appreciate it if a debate about it didn't start here. I want the comments here to focus on what he did in this extraordinary comeback effort.

@cf1970 understand..i just dont see this as an extraordinary comeback thats all... i see a horse plodding and street sense losing focus and tiring a bit in deep stretch thats all..it was obv the turn of foot that street sense showed at top of lane was awesome and he blew by curlin like he was standing still..

if anyone follows racing watch the turn of foot the street crys have.....seems to me they all have great turn of foot... i wont start or continue any debate due to OP wishes! HNY all!

@bigfred3217 I see your point, but what I meant by "extraordinary comeback" is the fact that it's a rare occurence for a horse to come back and win after being passed in the stretch, as Gary Stevens alluded to.

I'll take a closer look at the get Street Cry has produced, it'll be a treat to see their turn of foot. Thank you for respecting my wishes.
